UNDP – Financial Education Application
In contribution to the national strategy for inclusive finance, the Cameroonian government and the UNDP launched the economic resilience support project (PAREC) to reduce poverty and inequality at the local level. The project aims to offer socio-economic opportunities to vulnerable populations, including women and young people in order to strengthen their economic resilience.
Dimagi was selected to develop a mobile application for frontline workers to provide financial training to beneficiaries and to manage saving group activities monitored by microfinance institutions as well as raise awareness of COVID-19 information. The project will benefit more than 20,000 people in Cameroon.
