FIND – Antigen RDT Project Management Training
FIND, the global alliance for diagnostics and co-convener of the diagnostics pillar of the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator, is currently training healthcare workers to roll out antigen rapid diagnostic tests (Ag RDTs) for COVID-19 in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
FIND has contracted Dimagi to develop and support deployment of a digital tool for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of Ag RDT trainings in up to 15 LMICs, as part of one of their global Ag RDT training projects, that will track Ag RDT training and test uptake by 5,000 users, through the collection and reporting of key performance indicators.
The data collected will enable the programme management team and country partners to manage the health workers’ training and improve it through data-driven monitoring.
This will help further strengthen the quality of Ag RDT testing in LMICs as part of essential global efforts to manage the COVID-19 pandemic.
