Unique to Dimagi, Nick’s entire prior career was working in the “corporate world” where he designed and implemented software solutions for enterprises of all sizes. His experience working with organizations to improve heavily bureaucratic processes has taught him that the best solution is the simplest and that software must be designed with the end user in mind. Nick has experience in all aspects in the software development process from high-level solution design to hands-on implementation in the field.
Nick is an engineer at heart and loves the opportunity to tune the world out for a period of time to focus on a complex challenge. However, he is equally passionate about working with people and will inevitably resurface from his focus to chat with a colleague or tell a terrible joke that he is often the only one laughing at (His philosophy is “I tell jokes for myself. If you happen to also find it funny, so be it, but it’s not necessary.”). As such, he is most comfortable in the middle ground bridging the gap between users and developers to create the most effective solution.
Nick graduated from graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
