Freddie has a large appetite for life and over the last few years, he has worked in various capacities across the social entrepreneurship, consulting and investment banking sectors in India and elsewhere – from a project in the airlines industry with Accenture to engaging with urban ingenuity, inclusive growth, employing the creative arts to impact local communities and teaching the underprivileged children at a community park due to lack of a classroom facility with Touch India Trust to handling some of the world’s biggest hedge fund clients on Wall Street with Deutsche Bank. During this diverse personal epoch, there was a lot of learning, unlearning, travelling, writing, good conversations, numbers, fantastic company, literature and lots of tea/coffee. The larger picture drives him and real contributions/solutions excite him.
He jumped off the corporate bandwagon to join Dimagi’s operations team in India and he hopes to explore the international development field in the longer run with this change – a prophecy and conviction, which in part has evolved from his past work experiences and personal reflections. He believes in miracles and is excited about interdisciplinary approaches in offering long term correctives to address global issues. Academically, he has a Bachelors from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi with concentrations in Economics, Accounting and Financial/Investment management.
