Joanne du Randt

Joanne joined Dimagi in 2022 as a Business Development Associate based in Cape Town. Joanne studied her BSc in Life Sciences as UNISA, majoring in Zoology and Human Physiology. It was from there that she grew an interest in Public Health – particularly epidemiology – and went on to study her PGD in Public Health at the University of the Western Cape. Before Dimagi, Joanne worked at an NPO involved with community and youth upliftment projects. She also has a brief background in teaching English online and editing academic articles for health-based journals. In her free time, Joanne enjoys hiking, cooking, a cold beer, and hanging out with her dog and cat.
