Dr. Neal Lesh is both Dimagi’s Chief Strategy Officer as well as Dimagi’s Co-President as a voting member of Dimagi’s Executive Committee. As CSO, Neal supports a range of innovations and areas of exploration at Dimagi, including data science and the use of artificial intelligence, research into digital solutions, and expansion into new areas such as how digital solutions can help scale up access to mental health care in lower- and middle- income countries. He has helped several health programs in East and Southern Africa adopt data systems, and worked with many of the open source digital development organizations that lead the field currently. As Co-President of Dimagi, Neal oversees the company’s corporate governance and corporate initiatives. This includes capital strategy and financial sustainability across all of Dimagi’s global divisions as well as acquisitions and company-wide change management. Prior to shifting careers into global development, Neal published and lectured extensively in data visualization, data mining, and automated planning and logistics. Neal holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a Masters degree in Global Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.

Carter is both Dimagi’s Managing Director of the United States Health Division as well as Dimagi’s Co-President as the chair of Dimagi’s Executive Committee. As the Managing Director of the United States Health Division, Carter leads a 50+ person team that focuses on public health use cases and collaborations in the United States through state and local governments and community-based organizations. As Co-President of Dimagi, Carter oversees corporate governance and initiatives across all of Dimagi’s global divisions inclusive of acquisitions, capital strategy, organizational restructuring, and change management. In this capacity, Carter also leads Dimagi’s Business Strategy team. Carter joined Dimagi in 2011 and has led Dimagi through a period of tremendous growth across revenue, staff and technology projects delivering quality health care to urban and rural communities. Carter has managed cross-functional teams to achieve Dimagi’s aggressive business goals and expansion globally, and is seen as an entrepreneurial leader with a strong track record of developing business ventures from identification through execution. He is passionate about sustainable business strategies, data-driven decision making, and brings an academic rigor towards evaluating the impact of Dimagi’s business, technology, services, and products. Carter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has spent his prior professional life working in management consulting and finance with Oliver Wyman, managing multiple international projects across North America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to joining Dimagi, Carter was also a Senior Associate at ideas42, a Harvard-based think tank applying behavioral economics to design financial products for the poor.

Lucina is both Dimagi’s Chief Operating Officer as well as Dimagi’s Co-President as a voting member of Dimagi’s Executive Committee. As COO, Lucina leads all facets of Dimagi’s Business as well as People Operations, including finance, legal, people operations, and domestic and international operations. As Co-President of Dimagi, Lucina oversees Dimagi’s corporate governance across all of Dimagi’s global divisions and drives key company initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, capital strategy decisions, and cross-divisional change management work streams such as organizational restructuring and leadership transitions. Prior to Dimagi, Lucina’s professional experience includes electrical engineering and consulting for both growing businesses as well as small social impact start-ups. Lucina holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a Bachelors in Applied Sciences in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Managing Director of SaaS
Dennis is the Managing Director of the Software-as-a-Service division at Dimagi, he leads strategy and technology initiatives on the CommCare platform. Prior to joining Dimagi, Dennis was the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of a Technology and Consulting Services business. He is an experienced technology innovator and business leader who has built consulting practices and brought highly differentiated software products from concept to market. He possesses a combination of leadership, software engineering, product management, and business skills acquired through his strategic advisory, management, and hands-on roles in the software industry. Dennis holds B.Sc. in Computer Science from Ryerson University.
Managing Director of Solutions
Fan of Hercule Poirot, Ismaila strives to grow a mustache as famous and as amazing as Agatha Christie’s main character. On a more serious note, currently, based out of Senegal, Ismaila leads the Delivery team of the Solutions Division and is the Regional Lead for West Africa at Dimagi. Ismaila has previous experiences as multi-task analyst (from support analyst to business analyst, with some project management on top) in the Asset Management sector in Paris and London, and as an IT auditor in Western Africa. As a child of mother Africa, raised in the Information Technology era, he dreams to see the day when the latest will help to accelerate the development of the continent. Jonathan Jackson is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dimagi. As the CEO of Dimagi, Jonathan oversees a team of global employees who are supporting digital solutions in the vast majority of countries with globally-recognized partners. He has led Dimagi to become a leading, scaling social enterprise and creator of the world’s most widely used and powerful data collection platform, CommCare. An award-winning social entrepreneur and software engineer, Jonathan made an uncompromising commitment early in his career to developing open technology that creates maximum impact and good in the world. He has since gone on to found multiple organizations focused on leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery worldwide, including Cogito Corp, a pioneering behavioral analytics company. Jonathan is a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur and has been recognized by Business Week as one of the Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs. He currently sits on the boards of SimPrints and Spark Micro Grants. Jonathan earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
VP of Delivery
Courtney is the VP of Delivery in the Solutions Division at Dimagi. She drives a portfolio for more than 50 programs across 3 continents. Her top priority is to enable Dimagi's Solutions Delivery implementers to maximize the impact they bring to our partners. Prior to working at Dimagi, Courtney spent 11 years at Accenture, primarily in their Digital Services practice. She is thrilled to empower the Solutions Delivery teams and individual staff by building and tuning the right processes and feedback loops to amplify the impact of Dimagi’s consulting arm, the face of CommCare around the world.
Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Vikram Sheel Kumar is the Chief Medical Officer of Dimagi. An engineer and physician, Vikram co-founded Dimagi to bring the energy of the open source movement to solve important and interesting problems in health. Vikram did his graduate thesis at the MIT Media Laboratory where he developed one of the earliest mobile video games for health. Vikram is also co-founder of Cogito Corp and Clear Creek Bio. Vikram studied engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology and Columbia University and medicine at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology where he graduated magna cum laude. He completed a residency in Clinical Pathology from the Brigham & Women’s Hospital where he was chief resident. Vikram has won numerous awards including being named an MIT Technology Review’s TR100 and its Humanitarian of the Year, a Paul E. Strandjord Young Investigator, and a Paul and Daisy Soros New American. Along with Jon, he was named a Social Entrepreneur Awardee by the Schwab Foundation of the World Economic Forum.

Managing Director - Nutrition & HealthCare and Country Representative, India
Sumanthra Rao drives a portfolio of health and nutrition projects in his role as Managing Director of the India Division. With extensive past experience in consulting and program management, he has an established track record of implementing transformational technology initiatives in the eGovernance and Development sectors. As a practitioner, Sumanthra enjoys architecting optimal technology solutions contributing in concept development, right-sizing requirements and process refinements, which have demonstrated technology adoption at scale. At Dimagi, Sumanthra has been associated with a wide range of partner organizations and Governments in India. Prior to joining Dimagi, he has held senior positions at the Centre for Digital Financial Inclusion (IFMR), State Government of Haryana, Government of India and Intel’s consulting division, besides being an entrepreneur.
Chief Technology Officer
Clayton is the Chief Technology Officer at Dimagi. Since 2006, Clayton has led engineering initiatives in designing and developing ICT systems that improve service delivery at the last mile. At Dimagi, Clayton leads the technical development of CommCare, the world's largest digital health platform. His research has focused primarily on developing clinical protocols for low-resource settings as well as applying human-centered interaction practices to build software systems for the last mile. Prior to Dimagi, Clayton worked as a developer at the Advanced Materials Laboratory division of Sandia National Labs. He has served as a Visiting Lecturer for the User Interface Design and Implementation course within the Department of Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Clayton holds a B.S. and a Masters in Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT.

Regional Lead, Asia
Kriti's desire to use her technical and instructional skills to contribute to social impact brings her to Dimagi. She hopes to learn extensively from the intelligent and driven people around her how technology can support and spur development, and apply this knowledge to the education sector. She also looks forward to utilising her data analysis skills to draw meaningful conclusions from the data collected using Dimagi's mobile tools. Kriti is a math enthusiast, avid dancer and wannabe writer. After being born in India, she spent about a decade in the Middle East, before moving to Canada. She is excited to be back in India to better understand and feel the pulse of the nation. Prior to starting at Dimagi, she tutored and taught Math and Science in Canada, which informs her passion for education. She also worked widely with data while working for an economic consulting firm in New York, and enjoyed using her programming background to develop an automated report system for Canada Post. Kriti studied at Cornell University, where she majored in Mathematics, minored in Computer Science and did a concentration in South Asian studies.
Director of Business Strategy
Bill serves as the Director of Strategy at Dimagi. Through his career, he has worked in consulting and technology roles, with a focus on analytics. At Dimagi, Bill is a member of the team looking at current and future business strategy. In his free time, he spends time with his family, looking for new restaurants in the Bay Area, and trying to teach his dog how to sit. Bill holds an AB from Harvard University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Global Director of People Operations
Molly joins the Dimagi team after completing two years of service with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps. With AmeriCorps, Molly traveled around the southwestern United States serving low-income communities on a wide variety of projects, from chainsawing to tutoring in urban schools. Before AmeriCorps, Molly received her BA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Public Health and Psychology. During her studies, Molly was able to gain experience working in a support role serving as the office manager for the Public Health Peer Advising Office. While living for five months in a small community in Ghana, Molly saw first hand the need for mobile technology in international development, and became passionate about working to better global health. Molly is also passionate about service work and efficiency, and in her free time you can find Molly watching the Lord of the Rings, cooking elaborate meals, or reading a good book.
Senior Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships
Molly is a Project Manager with Dimagi. Her career in public health began in northern Uganda where she spent several months working with traditional birth attendants at a maternity clinic aimed at bringing holistic, sustainable care to women in post-conflict areas, even serving as the occasional ambulance driver. Molly traded in the rural life for a job in Washington, DC where she focused primarily on donor coordination within the fields of reproductive, maternal, and newborn health. While she loved DC, Molly missed the challenges of direct program implementation and decided to head back out to the field where she is eager to work with diverse communities and contribute to mobile solutions that make quality healthcare more accessible to women and their families. Molly has an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Comparative Politics from American University.
Senior Technical Project Manager
Kirti Chandratreya is a Technical Project Manager on the US Health Team. She is deeply interested in creating effective, efficient, and beautiful technology solutions. She believes that solutions abound in the Universe, simply waiting for problems to be clearly defined. She subscribes to the four-pronged philosophy of: Be there always; Play all out; Make their day; and Choose your attitude. She brings that philosophy to life in each team she is part of and every project she works on. Kirti has a strong technical background, with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Engineering & Sciences. She has worn several different hats in a variety of industries (Consulting, Healthcare, Education, Finance/Banking, Insurance, and Retail) and in various technology ecosystems. She enjoys continuous learning and can be found reading a book or engaged in personal development training and practice. When she is not diving into technology or managing projects, she is actively coaching people with accountability sessions and striving for results using SMART goals. In her spare time and on weekends, she can be found immersed in her creative crafts practice.
Software Engineer
Jing Cheng is a Software Engineer humbly dedicated to making a positive impact through technology. With a Master of Science in Computer Science from Brandeis University and a diverse educational background in International Economics and Trade, as well as Business Analytics, she brings a range of perspectives to software development. While her experience includes developing mobile and web apps, she considers herself continuously exploring various areas and expanding her knowledge. Jing is genuinely passionate about writing code and building software that can make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Beyond work, she finds joy in outdoor activities such as workouts, trying new cuisines, and embracing the challenge of climbing.
Senior Applications Engineer
Kim is a Senior Applications Engineer at Dimagi. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in computer vision and graphics. Kim's professional experience has taken her through different industries, but the constant throughout has been to help other people, focusing her work with mission driven companies and nonprofit institutions. Recently transitioning from a project management role with a museum in Boston, she's excited to get back to her roots and use technology to make a positive difference in people's lives. Outside of work, she bakes, lifts weights, plays video games, hangs out with her two cats, and likes to try new hobbies that get her outside and moving.

Partnerships Analyst
Melissa is an Albuquerque-based Partnerships Analyst working on the US Health team. Prior to joining Dimagi, she worked in public and non-profit housing and delved into social entrepreneurship as the owner and confectioner of a vegan candy company. Melissa is deeply interested in the intersection of policy development, project coordination, and communications. She earned dual BA degrees in Anthropology and Sociology from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia and has completed certifications in social policy and change management. In her free time, Melissa enjoys volunteering at museums, exploring parks and national forests, failing to train her two cats, and baking. She has seldom met a rock she didn’t like.
VP of Digital Adherence
As a social entrepreneur and infectious disease epidemiologist, Kelly’s career mission has been to support the implementation and scale of evidence-based, high-impact digital health interventions globally. Kelly is the former CEO and Co-Founder of SureAdhere Mobile Technology, which was acquired by Dimagi in February 2022. Kelly’s 12+ years of experience evaluating digital adherence interventions across 5 continents and 25 countries has resulted in 29 publications, 9 of which she co-authored as an independent researcher prior to the incorporation of SureAdhere. Additionally, as a testament to Kelly’s commitment to building a strong evidence base for digital health interventions which affect global policy decisions, Kelly led SureAdhere while the company supported the implementation of two randomized controlled trials evaluating video observed therapy for TB treatment adherence published in the Lancet and JAMA Open - studies which informed WHO treatment guidelines for TB in 2017 and 2022.
Full Stack Engineer II
Robert Costello is a software engineer based in Brooklyn, NY. He has a strong desire to have a positive social impact through challenging technical work, making Dimagi a great place to be. He started his career in the fine art world after receiving a Masters in Painting from Pratt Institute. While his time in the arts was very gratifying and personally meaningful, his passion for coding and a need for more broadly impactful work said it was time to make a shift. After a period of self-teaching followed by the completion of a coding bootcamp (Fullstack Academy) he was ready to find the right place to put his skills to work and grow as an engineer. He feels fortunate that the US Health team at Dimagi is that place
Director of Technology
Kai Cowger, the Associate Director of Engineering at Dimagi, is an ICT4D professional passionate about making the world a better place through the use of effective, proven technologies. He has experience living and working in several countries across East and West Africa. He has designed, built, and rolled-out mobile and cloud based solutions for his various interest areas, ranging from Maternal and Child Health in Southwest Uganda to contact tracing for Ebola in Guinea. When not at work, he enjoys long-distance running, swimming, writing, and being the father of the best dog on the planet.
Senior Program Associate
Mckenna is a program associate on the Digital Adherence Team. She received a BA in Public Administration at San Diego State University and was a scholar athlete in the sport of swimming. Mckenna always had an interest in public health and after college she began working with SureAdhere Mobile Technology, Inc to assist with their video directly observed therapy (VOT) platform upgrade. She worked at SureAdhere for 4 years before it was acquired by Dimagi. She is thrilled to be a part of the Dimagi team where she is able to continue enhancing the VOT platform to help patients with treatment adherence. In her free time she likes to go to the beach, exercise, and cook!
Marketing Operations and Analytics Manager
As Marketing Operations and Analytics Manager at Dimagi, Briana DeRousse is formalizing the foundation of our marketing systems and processes to build a sustainable ecosystem that scales as Dimagi continues to impact communities worldwide. She loves finding the common thread to connect people, systems, data, and mindful decision making. On her best days, Briana is heads down in a book with coffee mug in hand, gathered around the table feasting on good food and company, or hand-in-hand with her husband enjoying a local eatery, coffee shop, park, or hiking trail (likely dreaming up their next adventure or endeavor). Before joining Dimagi, Briana worked with Perficient, where she formalized the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Marketing Data Team. Her focuses included standardizing processes for the marketing technology stack, setting advanced reporting and data visualization in motion, and cultivating the passions and interests of her team members. Prior to that, Briana served on the Global Diversity & Inclusion Team at Caterpillar, where she became fascinated with the passionate work of the team magnifying voices, mitigating bias, and educating on the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Briana studied Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is thrilled to bring this blend of experiences to Team Dimagi!
Data Fellow
Anna Dixon is a data fellow at Dimagi where she brings together software engineering, machine learning and statistics to turn data into actionable insights and practices. She brings more than a decade of experience in research, data science and engineering across projects ranging from applying machine learning to better link patient medical records between community and facility health information systems, building automated form processing tools using computer vision and OCR, routing optimization software for better sanitation services in Haiti and data pipelines for monitoring cross-species epidemic risk factors. In the more distant past, she discovered her love of data-driven engineering and machine learning while getting her PhD at the University of Washington where she proved the viability of compressed sensing on biomedical signals. When she isn’t experimenting with algorithms or writing code, she is usually with her husband and two kids on an adventure, be it abroad or closer to their home in Washington, DC.
Engineer II
Addison is a Full Stack Engineer at Dimagi. He started coding in high school and has always enjoyed creating things. After graduating from the University of Virginia with Bachelor's degrees in computer science and business, he worked in Austin, Texas as a sales representative at Zello, a small walkie-talkie mobile application company. He spent a few months living at Zen Mountain Monastery in Mt. Tremper, New York before picking up web development. His passion for socially impactful technology has led him to Dimagi. Outside of work Addison reads classic novels, plays basketball, and hikes.
Senior Engineer II
Cal is an engineer at Dimagi who is excited to be writing software that will make positive difference. Previously, he worked on voter database software for political campaigns. When not working he loves skiing, eating, traveling, and drinking coffee (preferably multiple of those at once). Cal graduated with a bachelors degree in Physics from Carleton College.

Elaina Faust is thrilled to join Dimagi as a Project Manager working on the United States COVID-19 Response team. Elaina is a digital health and ICT4D professional passionate about empowering healthcare workers, patients, and policymakers with healthcare data for decision making. She comes to Dimagi with four years of experience as a project manager in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementation with Epic Systems. In this role, Elaina led teams of implementers partnering with healthcare organizations in the United States and abroad to leverage technology to provide safer and more efficient outpatient care. Prior to joining Dimagi, Elaina consulted for the World Bank's Innovation in Healthcare Service Delivery team, where she created a strategy for World Bank engagement with digital health tools, with a focus on open source software and digital health global goods. Elaina holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations and French from Claremont McKenna College and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Global Human Development from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, Elaina worked at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation, bringing data, digital technology, and human-centered design processes into state and local government. Elaina is a lifelong horse enthusiast and loves hiking and spending time in nature.
Director of Solutions Delivery
Ali is a Technical Project Manager on Dimagi’s Global Services Team. Living, working, and traveling in middle and low-income countries has shaped her passion for global health, particularly the innovative solutions that emerge from low-resource health systems. Ali has supported CommCare implementations in Lesotho, Tanzania, and Ghana for TB care and malaria prevention. Ali studied Global Affairs and Public Health at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. She identifies as an Oregon (almost) native, loves a day spent hiking or swimming in the ocean, and hopes to one day be as cool as her parents. She also hates talking about herself in third person.

Jenifer is a Senior Project Analyst in the Solution Division. Passionate about technology and data management, she started by obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics. For more than 7 years, she has grown professionally by building solutions first within the software industry and then in nonprofits. Her love for helping others led her to Dimagi where she continues to be excited about making a better world. Michèle has a dual degree from Boston University in Math and Computer Science. While math is her true passion, computer science has been her true calling for the past 20 years. She started out coding for healthcare research projects at BU Medical Center and after forays into firmware design, systems support, and finally software support, she has found her way to Dimagi. Michèle is excited to be working at a company where her technical skills can be used to affect positive change in the health and well-being of society. Outside of work, she likes to watch superhero movies, write novels she never finishes, and roller skate.

Lauren joined Dimagi in 2014 based out of Maputo, Mozambique and later transitioned the Global Services team in Cape Town, South Africa. While there, her work focused on the design and delivery of multiple scale technology programs in Mozambique, Tanzania, and Ethiopia. Since 2020, Lauren is based in Washington DC working on the Dimagi US Health team. She is a Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and holds degrees from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is enthusiastic about the intersection of health and technology and how mobile technology can improve healthcare outcomes. Natalia has joined Dimagi as an Administrative Assistant for the USH Leadership Team. She has previously worked as an Executive assistant at a Japanese manufacturing company in Slovakia. Natalia holds a Master’s in Translation & Interpreting for English, Spanish, and Slovak. During her studies, Natalia wrote a thesis paper on translations of American literature that was published in the scholarly journal World Literature Studies in 2020. In her free time, Natalia enjoys traveling, cooking, baking, and biking with her husband.

Molly serves as the Director of Strategy at Dimagi. She has built a career in strategic roles across many industries through corporate, start-up, and non-profit experiences. Her favorite work involves data-based decision making, behavioral economics, and organizational management. At Dimagi, Molly applies this to focus on both current and future business strategy. In her free time, she enjoys the performing arts, yoga, and attempting to grow vegetables. Molly holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Joshua Gray is a Technical Project Analyst based in Missouri. Josh got his bachelor of science in Computer Science at Truman State University. Business Strategy Analyst
Deepika serves as the Business Strategy Analyst for Dimagi's Business Strategy Team. Prior to Dimagi, Deepika worked as a software engineer at a leading investment bank in New York City. Deepika has acted in various roles including finance, partnerships, outreach, and education as part of a nonprofit aiming to encourage females in STEM. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, traveling, finding new music, and debating the best cafes in town. Deepika holds a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Emily is a People Operations manager at Dimagi. In this role Emily supports the global People Operations team in designing HR processes so we can support our team members as best as possible. Emily joined Dimagi after graduating from Boston University’s Social Impact MBA program where she focused her learning on B Corps and how business can be used as a force for good. Prior to going back to graduate school, Emily worked in the Risk Assurance group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City in the Entertainment & Media sector. Emily holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. In her free time, and when the weather cooperates, you can find Emily out on the ski hill.

Nisreen is part of the small but mighty Talent Acquisition team at Dimagi. She comes to Dimagi with a wide range of professional experience. Her skills range from database management and business analysis on the technical side to an aptitude for recognizing strengths on the personal side. Nisreen graduated from the University of Connecticut with an MBA in Healthcare and MIS. Previously, Nisreen worked as a consultant and also has extensive volunteer experience. Moreover, she has an in-depth understanding of early-stage businesses as a result of the time she spent founding her DIY and Handmade Mosaic business, Art It Your Way. In her free time, Nisreen enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and two kids, and working on her various artistic endeavors.

Marissa Harrison is a Senior Project Manager with Dimagi’s US Health Division who has a passion for using technology to improve healthcare delivery in low-resource settings. In her first few years at Dimagi, Marissa supported the development of some of Dimagi’s large-scale digital health solutions in India, including a national-scale maternal and child health and nutrition project. Prior to joining Dimagi, she served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Lead at a livelihoods NGO in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh through the American India Foundation Clinton Fellowship. Marissa holds a B.A. in South and Southeast Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in Human Rights. Outside of work, Marissa is happiest when surrounded by animals, the great outdoors and wide open roads.

Hannah Henrikson is a Technical Project Analyst within the US Health Division. With interests in health systems strengthening, digital health, and social justice, Hannah stepped away from the world of academic research to join the team at Dimagi. While most of Hannah’s professional experience is in global epidemiology and biostatistics, she considers herself a social scientist at heart and is deeply interested in the social and health impacts of technology. Hannah holds a BA in Medical Anthropology and Global Health from the University of Washington and is in the process of completing an MPH in Global Health from Boston University School of Public Health. Hannah is an outdoor enthusiast who can typically be found hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, or scuba diving in her spare time. She also enjoys cooking, brewing her own kombucha, drinking excessive amounts of coffee, attending concerts, binging true crime documentaries, and making people laugh.

Steph is ecstatic to join the tech team at Dimagi and start making an immediate social impact through technology. She earned a degree in Computer Science at Carleton College and gained a passion for ethics and accessibility. Her senior project focused on mitigating bias in machine learning and defining algorithmic fairness. Steph has also worked with various organizations to increase gender diversity within technology fields. Outside of coding, she enjoys reading, attempting crosswords, traveling, hiking, and (the newest hobby from quarantine) embroidering.
Engineer II
Graham is grateful for the opportunity to develop software that makes critical services accessible to those who need it most. He strives to write software that is simple and well-tested. Graham has gained healthcare technology experience in his previous work, developing mobile applications used to track and manage diabetes at AgaMatrix, and contributing to research development in gait analysis and rehabilitation at the FORE center. He earned a B.S. in Music Engineering from the University of Miami, and is still reacclimating to Northeast winters. Outside of work he enjoys escaping the urban life for a peaceful weekend in the Whites, keeping up to date on the newest music, and staying active with friends.

Kate is a technical project manager for Dimagi's US Health division. She holds a Master of Public Health in Program Management and Monitoring & Evaluation from Boston University and a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before Dimagi, Kate's work experience includes developing ECG devices as a software engineer and researching mHealth solutions for tuberculosis education in Lesotho. She is passionate about utilizing both her global health and engineering insights to make digital health more impactful and sustainable. Outside of work, Kate's interests include classical music and tackling her ever-growing to-read list.
Senior Director of Research Strategy
Xian is a Research Associate at Dimagi who is primarily responsible for grant strategy/planning and development of proposals for Dimagi’s CommCare platform in US-based projects. Her current focus is on the development of NIH small business innovation research (SBIR) proposals. Xian received both her BA and PhD from New York University in Psychology with a focus on cognition and perception, specifically the visual perception of material properties. She has since applied her skills and interest in the study of human behavior to the study of human interaction with healthcare technology. Just prior to working at Dimagi, she spent 6 years in Nashville as a research manager in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University and worked closely with multiple investigators and teams on a range of federally-funded health informatics projects, including the development and evaluation of mobile technology for medication adherence for adolescents with asthma and adaptation of AHRQ Type 2 diabetes guides for dissemination through a patient portal using a patient-centered approach. She specializes in a mixed methods approach to studying healthcare technology and usability and is excited about the opportunities of making healthcare accessible to all through mobile health innovation. Xian happily joined Dimagi in 2015 to help make a greater impact in healthcare both at home and abroad and enjoys burning the midnight oil to further those efforts.

Jonathan Jackson is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dimagi. As the CEO of Dimagi, Jonathan oversees a team of global employees who are supporting digital solutions in the vast majority of countries with globally-recognized partners. He has led Dimagi to become a leading, scaling social enterprise and creator of the world’s most widely used and powerful data collection platform, CommCare. An award-winning social entrepreneur and software engineer, Jonathan made an uncompromising commitment early in his career to developing open technology that creates maximum impact and good in the world. He has since gone on to found multiple organizations focused on leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery worldwide, including Cogito Corp, a pioneering behavioral analytics company. Jonathan is a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur and has been recognized by Business Week as one of the Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs. Asangi joined Dimagi as a Product Promoting Manager in 2022 and is responsible for marketing SureAdhere, VDOT software, which is Dimagi's most recent acquisition. Asangi has several years of marketing expertise in both corporate and startup environments and joins the team after working at a number of SaaS firms in the AI, Open Source Middleware, Cyber Security, and PropTech domains. Dimagi’s impact on society & contribution to better the lives of many around the world drew her to join the team. She holds a masters degree from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Outside of work Asangi enjoys baking, traveling, and is passionate about animal rights and welfare.

Gillian serves as the Chief of Staff at Dimagi. Gillian has built her career working in project, marketing, and operations roles at various social impact technology organizations, including Dimagi, TecSalud, Vecna Cares, Telerivet, Partners in Health, One Laptop Per Child, and UNDP. Prior to joining Dimagi, Gillian co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of an ICT services impact consulting firm working in Latin America and the Caribbean. She has managed over 30 digital health projects that utilize frontline technology to augment health programs in low-resource settings. Gillian holds a Masters in Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine and a B.A. in International Relations and Community Health from Tufts University.

Jason has a diverse background in the public and private sector predominantly focused on Southeast Asia. Before joining Dimagi he was a Member of the Board of Directors and Manager for Client Services at GL Advisor helping to build the company’s start-up operations in Manila, and acted as a Consultant supporting companies looking to setup overseas operations in the Philippines. Courtney is the VP of Delivery in the Solutions Division at Dimagi. She drives a portfolio for more than 50 programs across 3 continents. Her top priority is to enable Dimagi's Solutions Delivery implementers to maximize the impact they bring to our partners. Prior to working at Dimagi, Courtney spent 11 years at Accenture, primarily in their Digital Services practice. She is thrilled to empower the Solutions Delivery teams and individual staff by building and tuning the right processes and feedback loops to amplify the impact of Dimagi’s consulting arm, the face of CommCare around the world.

Andrea is a product manager, project manager, and people manager with over ten years of experience bridging the gap between audiences of varying levels of technical expertise. Her background as a Professional Engineer and an MBA allows Andrea to dive into the tactical aspects of projects and connect this with bigger strategic objectives. Before joining Dimagi, Andrea most recently led a Global Delivery team at an international FinTech start-up, focused on using predictive modeling to aid alternative credit scoring in developing countries. Both in and outside of work, Andrea is passionate about connecting with people, taking a data-driven approach, and conquering goals.

Vikram Sheel Kumar is the Chief Medical Officer of Dimagi. An engineer and physician, Vikram co-founded Dimagi to bring the energy of the open source movement to solve important and interesting problems in health. Vikram did his graduate thesis at the MIT Media Laboratory where he developed one of the earliest mobile video games for health. Vikram is also co-founder of Cogito Corp and Clear Creek Bio. Vikram studied engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology and Columbia University and medicine at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology where he graduated magna cum laude. He completed a residency in Clinical Pathology from the Brigham & Women’s Hospital where he was chief resident. Vikram has won numerous awards including being named an MIT Technology Review’s TR100 and its Humanitarian of the Year, a Paul E. Strandjord Young Investigator, and a Paul and Daisy Soros New American. Along with Jon, he was named a Social Entrepreneur Awardee by the Schwab Foundation of the World Economic Forum.

Kaley is a Field Manager on Dimagi’s global services team. During her career in international public health she has built compostable latrines in rural Panama, led community health seminars in Honduras, collaborated on a nutrition and child development project in rural Guatemala, and provided early learning opportunities for child laborers in Antigua, Guatemala. Kaley has her Master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in International Health and Nutrition and two B.A.’s from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Spanish Literature. A Colorado native who was on skis before she could walk, Kaley is happiest in her hiking boots, on a mountain, or in a tent. She also enjoys cooking, gardening, and studying languages.

Minha is an engineer with an interest in using technology as a positive force for change, particularly in the healthcare industry. Influenced by his parents' work as healthcare workers, he values well-designed and accessible software, which can make a world of a difference to the user. He earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. His other interests include video game design, art and hiking. Minha is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the work at Dimagi and continually learn on the job, as well as for the support from his peers and mentors.
Director of Solutions Delivery
Jordan Lerner joined Dimagi in late 2016 as a Field Manager based in India, and has recently relocated as a member of the Global Services team in South Africa. Since joining the organization he has led CommCare implementations in Ethiopia, Mozambique and across India for TB Care, reproductive and maternal health, malaria prevention, and HIV treatment. He is thrilled to be on a team with others who share his passions for human equity and social justice. Jordan explored several paths before joining Dimagi. While at McGill University he worked as a counselor to special-needs children, as a researcher in a pain genetics lab, and after graduating, he worked at FleishmanHillard as a communications consultant. In his free time he enjoys playing the saxophone, rock climbing, defending Lebron James' legacy, and hosting pun-based dinner parties.
Chief Strategy Officer/Co-President, Dimagi
Dr. Neal Lesh is both Dimagi’s Chief Strategy Officer as well as Dimagi’s Co-President as a voting member of Dimagi’s Executive Committee. As CSO, Neal supports a range of innovations and areas of exploration at Dimagi, including data science and the use of artificial intelligence, research into digital solutions, and expansion into new areas such as how digital solutions can help scale up access to mental health care in lower- and middle- income countries. He has helped several health programs in East and Southern Africa adopt data systems, and worked with many of the open source digital development organizations that lead the field currently. As Co-President of Dimagi, Neal oversees the company’s corporate governance and corporate initiatives. This includes capital strategy and financial sustainability across all of Dimagi’s global divisions as well as acquisitions and company-wide change management. Prior to shifting careers into global development, Neal published and lectured extensively in data visualization, data mining, and automated planning and logistics. Neal holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a Masters degree in Global Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
Research Project Manager
Delta is a research project manager on the Research and Data team at Dimagi. She graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Community Health and International Relations (concentration: Global Health, Nutrition, and the Environment) and then went on to conduct research in pediatric liver health and nutrition at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, focusing on childhood obesity and its comorbidities. After becoming involved in several initiatives working to foster environmental stewardship, youth mentorship, food justice, and educational equity, she knew she wanted to continue working with marginalized and traditionally underserved populations to improve health outcomes and address health inequities disproportionately affecting these groups. Delta enjoys reading, traveling, drinking coffee, learning Spanish, going on long walks, and eating spicy food in her free time.
Senior Health Strategy Specialist
Lauren is the Senior Health Strategy Specialist at Dimagi. She researches and develops innovative strategies to improve access to quality mental health care globally, co-leading Dimagi’s work in the space with the Chief Strategy Officer. Her work includes building partnerships with funders, academics, and implementers to advance these and other innovative research efforts towards impact. Prior to joining Dimagi in 2021, Lauren directed innovative, results-focused quality improvement projects at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and the National Institute for Children’s Health Quality (NICHQ). She served in both project and operational roles, partnering with funders, subject matter experts and families to design and deliver projects that improved MNCH outcomes. Lauren also has been a human resources researcher and consultant in the not-for-profit and technology sectors. She received her MPH from Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and an MBA from Brandeis’s Heller School for Social Policy & Management. She graduated with her BA from Dartmouth College. Lauren loves to travel near and far and spent a gap year with her husband and kids traveling around the world. In her free time she serves on the board of directors of an independent school and has a goal of reading a book a week.

Molly is a Solutions Manager focused on needs and opportunities in the US. Prior to joining Dimagi, Molly worked on design and adoption of products at the University of Michigan's Center for Academic Innovation and the Michigan Health Information Network. She earned a Masters of Health Informatics from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Outside of work, Molly is a serial hobbyist and can be found walking her dog in the woods.

Celena Mancina is the US Health Division's Senior Director of Operations. Celena serves on the leadership team overseeing the division's strategic initiatives and special projects alongside the MD and other division leaders.Prior to Dimigi, Celena was in leadership positions with other impact-focused startups and consulting firms all focusing on operational excellence, project-based work and leadership. Previously, Celena was named one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ Twenty in Their 20s award for her work on scholarship funding for women in tech. Through this program, she worked with local organizations to provide full scholarships for more than 80 Michigan women.Celena is proud to live in the city of Detroit and enjoys being outdoors, biking, kayaking, rowing, spending time with her husband and dog, and traveling. She also loves a good documentary and non-fiction book!
Full Stack Engineer
In high school, Evan considered coding as a career path – then thought “why would I want to sit in front of a computer all day?” and abandoned the idea. After years in food service, he got a job “sitting in front of a computer all day”. Working in homelessness policy for the State of California, he fostered a deep interest in social causes. To further his career growth, he returned to that interest from earlier in life and attended a coding bootcamp, where he gained a foundational knowledge of software engineering upon which to build.Evan is excited to use and grow his skills and knowledge as a Full Stack Engineer with Dimagi, an organization committed to making a positive impact. When not working, he enjoys playing drums to annoy his lovely partner and their three cats.

Lucila is the Associate Director of Strategy and Operations of the Solutions Division at Dimagi. She is an Economist with extensive global experience in the technology and consulting industries. She is passionate about social impact, and is experienced working at large established enterprises as well as high growth startups. Lucila is a globetrotter, having lived and worked throughout LATAM and the United States. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s Degree in Economics, focused on International Trade and Development from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. Lucila is native in English and Spanish, and fluent in Portuguese.
Director of Future Solutions
Kriti's desire to use her technical and instructional skills to contribute to social impact brings her to Dimagi. She hopes to learn extensively from the intelligent and driven people around her how technology can support and spur development, and apply this knowledge to the education sector. She also looks forward to utilising her data analysis skills to draw meaningful conclusions from the data collected using Dimagi's mobile tools. Kriti is a math enthusiast, avid dancer and wannabe writer. After being born in India, she spent about a decade in the Middle East, before moving to Canada. She is excited to be back in India to better understand and feel the pulse of the nation. Prior to starting at Dimagi, she tutored and taught Math and Science in Canada, which informs her passion for education. She also worked widely with data while working for an economic consulting firm in New York, and enjoyed using her programming background to develop an automated report system for Canada Post. Kriti studied at Cornell University, where she majored in Mathematics, minored in Computer Science and did a concentration in South Asian studies.

Daniel is a software engineer who tries to apply the Zen of Python to his work as often as possible. Beautiful is better than ugly. Simple is better than complex. Readability counts. He values a deep understanding of the tools he uses to build systems and solve problems that hopefully make the world a better place. When he's not doing his day job, Daniel enjoys bicycling, studying theology and philosophy, and spending time with family and friends. He also works on and contributes to several open source projects. He developed an open source text editor, which he uses every day for software development tasks. Daniel graduated from LeTourneau University with a bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
Data Engineer
Joseph Mooney is a Data Engineer at Dimagi based in Boston, MA. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science along with a Minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Harvard University, and has done data engineering and software development in various industries, including biomedical engineering, renewable energy, and autonomous vehicles. He is passionate about developing technology to provide for social good in the world, along with the technology regulations required to make sure our legal systems can justly and morally regulate future development. In addition to being passionate about issues of DEI, systemic racism and sexism, and LGBTQ+ issues, Joe also enjoys spending time with his large extended family and playing or creating board, card, and video games with friends. He especially adores spending time with the loves of his life, his partner Richard and his precious dog Neblina.

Given his background as a Contact Tracer and Software Developer, he is excited at the overlap in health and technical skills in his current role. Director of Solutions Delivery
Mike is the Director of Global Services for the Cambridge Office. The role involves managing the Cambridge based global services team, allocating accurate resources to our Global Services projects and coordinating the execution of projects globally with the Global Services Teams from Dimagi’s three other business units. Before coming to Dimagi, he worked as an agricultural extension agent with the Peace Corps in Togo. During his two years with the Peace Corps he worked with farming cooperatives in his community to create biointensive gardens for dry season production, collaborated with a woman’s group to promote nutrition and maternal health, mobilized local farmers to adopt agroforestry techniques in their fields, and edited Farm to Market, the highly acclaimed Peace Corps Togo agricultural publication. His experience has afforded him firsthand knowledge of the challenges and realities of working in the field.
Senior Director of Partnerships, US Health
Lily is a Director of Partnerships with Dimagi Inc with six years of experience working at the intersection of technology and social change. She joins the Dimagi Boston team after three years working for Dimagi in India where her main focus was a large scale project with the Government of India aimed at equipping 500,000 community health workers with a CommCare mobile application. Lily has an insatiable curiosity about food systems, clean energy and public health and is passionate about the ways technology can support caregivers at the front line. Lily holds a B.A. in Anthropology and B.S. in Economics from George Washington University.

As the Director of Digital Marketing, Lana leads digital strategy and implementation across Dimagi's digital portfolio. Lana joins Dimagi with over 15 years of experience leading digital-first teams across a variety of industries including tech, entertainment and consumer packaged goods for Fortune 500 companies such as Clorox, Viacom, Time Inc. and Hearst Publications. Lana is passionate about using her skills to drive impact at scale with focus on empowering underserved communities. She holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a Bachelors in Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Senior Technical Project Analyst
Kate is a Technical Project Analyst within the US Health Division. She is excited to be utilizing her technical background (BS in Computer Science and Molecular Biology from MIT) to build digital tools that modernize healthcare delivery and data systems. When she’s not working, your best shot at finding her is somewhere outside with her dog. She enjoys hiking and backpacking and being surrounded by trees and mountains. She also loves to play soccer, read, teach math and coding, journal, and cook tasty vegetarian food!
Portfolio Lead
As Portfolio Lead, Global Strategic Partnerships, Nathan fosters the development and strengthening of Dimagi’s critical growth partnerships with multilateral agencies, philanthropies, and private funders. After a decade of working in global public health, Nathan brings experience and perspectives on strategy and systems design and program delivery; advocacy and partnerships development; donor and funder engagement; change management; and measurement, learning and evaluation. He has experience advising programs focused on malaria, neglected tropical diseases, non-communicable diseases, COVID-19 and global health security, emergency and humanitarian response, and maternal health, among other areas. Nathan holds an M.Sc. in Global Health from Trinity College, Dublin and a B.A. in International Development Studies from McGill University in Montréal. He lives in the midcoast of Maine (USA) with his family, and spends as much time as possible outdoors, on the ocean and in the mountains, and growing and cooking food.

Associate Director, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships
Anna is a Partnerships Manager on Dimagi's Business Development team. Throughout her career, Anna has worked to encourage sustainable solutions to global health challenges at the intersection of human and environmental health. In this capacity, Anna has worked with Groundswell International to promote regenerative agriculture techniques with smallscale farmers globally, led Millennium Water Alliance's portfolio of sustainable WASH programming in Latin America, and collaborated on community health programs in the rural highlands of Guatemala. Anna has a BA from the University of Rochester, an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and is currently completing an MBA in Sustainability from Bard College.Anna enjoys hiking, biking and gardening, and generally spending as much time as possible outside.
Managing Director, US Health / Co-President, Dimagi
Carter is both Dimagi’s Managing Director of the United States Health Division as well as Dimagi’s Co-President as the chair of Dimagi’s Executive Committee. As the Managing Director of the United States Health Division, Carter leads a 50+ person team that focuses on public health use cases and collaborations in the United States through state and local governments and community-based organizations. As Co-President of Dimagi, Carter oversees corporate governance and initiatives across all of Dimagi’s global divisions inclusive of acquisitions, capital strategy, organizational restructuring, and change management. In this capacity, Carter also leads Dimagi’s Business Strategy team. Carter joined Dimagi in 2011 and has led Dimagi through a period of tremendous growth across revenue, staff and technology projects delivering quality health care to urban and rural communities. Carter has managed cross-functional teams to achieve Dimagi’s aggressive business goals and expansion globally, and is seen as an entrepreneurial leader with a strong track record of developing business ventures from identification through execution. He is passionate about sustainable business strategies, data-driven decision making, and brings an academic rigor towards evaluating the impact of Dimagi’s business, technology, services, and products. Carter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has spent his prior professional life working in management consulting and finance with Oliver Wyman, managing multiple international projects across North America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to joining Dimagi, Carter was also a Senior Associate at ideas42, a Harvard-based think tank applying behavioral economics to design financial products for the poor.

Erin Quinn is a Customer Success Manager at Dimagi where she works with diverse clients ranging from grassroots organizations to government ministries to enable the effective use of mobile technologies in education, health, and agriculture. Erin has worked on 15+ mobile technology projects across Asia and Africa. Most recently, she has worked on large-scale digital system for tracking and enhancing care for tuberculosis patients in India. Prior to Dimagi she worked for Westat, a US government contractor, on projects related to teacher quality and after school programming. Erin holds a masters degree in International Development from American University's School of International Service, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Chantal is a Senior Technical Project Analyst at Dimagi, working on the US Health team. Given her intersecting interests in technology, healthcare, and social impact she is genuinely eager to help drive change alongside her team. While she has a background in Computer Science and development, her current role enables her to put to use her UX design, project management, and analytical skills. Outside of work she enjoys spending time adventuring in the outdoors, travelling and learning about new places, and flexing her creative muscles. Chantal has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Biology from McGill University.

Martin is a Senior engineer at Dimagi. He has always been interested in Biology and went to school with a focus on Bioinformatics. During that he discovered his interest in computer science and focused on that in his masters degree. After completing school he moved to the US, where he worked for DNASTAR and RiskSense before finding his way to Dimagi. Outside of work he likes to bike, ski and read books.

Danny Roberts is a strong believer in applying his general life principle of being nice and having fun to software engineering. A Boston-area native and half-Brazilian, Danny's interest in the world led him to study a number of languages which he speaks to various degrees of proficiency including Portuguese, Latin, German, Chinese, Romanian, and Ancient Greek. Danny graduated from Princeton University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in Computer Science. While at Princeton, he became interested in web development as a way to "be the change you want to see in the world" after working on a few web projects. Danny joined Dimagi in 2010 to improve his knowledge of geography, to use what he knows to be the change he wants to see in the world, and of course to be nice and have fun.

Mary Rocheleau is passionate about building technology products to advance humanitarian aid and promote health equity. She holds a BSc in Psychology from McGill University and a MA in Computer Science from Brandeis University and has over a decade of experience working at the intersection of healthcare technology and international development. Prior to joining Dimagi, she worked at Mercy Corps focusing on using cloud computing and predictive modeling to understand acute humanitarian crises, and at VecnaCares where she oversaw a global portfolio of technology projects focused on implementing electronic medical record systems in low-resource settings.

Elizabeth is a Senior Partnerships Associate on Dimagi’s Business Development Team. Prior to joining Dimagi, Elizabeth worked in public health research and international development with diverse teams in the public and private sectors. She has a specialized focus in global health, with field experience in Latin America and East Africa. Elizabeth has a BA from the University of Maryland and an MPH from George Washington University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and attempting to run long distances.

Erick Romo is passionate about the ways technology can scale social impact. He has over ten years of experience working on a wide range of projects within the Public and Private Sectors. Sarah is the Senior Director of Delivery within Dimagi's US Health Division. In her current role, Sarah oversees the 20+ team members who implement Dimagi's project work within the US. She backstops the strategy and rollout of digital tools - passionate about their capacity to transform health systems. Sarah joined Dimagi in 2014 and she spent her first three years based in Dakar, Senegal. During that time, her project work was concentrated in West Africa, notably Benin, Cameroon, Guinea, Mali, Niger, and Senegal. Kishan has a strong passion for ICT4D and loves to explore the implementation of ICT solutions in improving the lives of people in the community. Kishan has an undergraduate degree in Information Systems and Technology from United States International University - Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. He has worked with UNHCR in Kenya where he supported ICT operations and has also worked in the agriculture industry in Kenya where he played a supporting role in network administration and the implementation of ERP systems. Kishan's interest in development stems from his work for UNHCR where he designed and developed a website for the Somalia Return Consortium, which brought into light the voices of refugees and internally displaced people in Somalia, and put together resources for relief workers who aided refugees to return home to Somalia. At Dimagi, Kishan aims to further contribute his expertise in supporting the delivery of lasting solutions to underserved communities around the world. Kishan loves adventure, traveling and hiking. He also practices playing the keyboard and aspires to play the piano.
Senior Director of Product Engineering, US Health
Jenny specializes in the care and feeding of big old codebases. She tried being a designer but missed debugging too much and came back to software development. Prior to Dimagi, she spent time writing software for an electronic health records company and a Silicon Valley giant. Along the way, she picked up degrees in computer science and human-computer interaction. She's still in school as often as not, studying sociology, psychology, or nutrition. Jenny is delighted to be living in Boston and to be able to scull on the Charles. Before and after work, she's absorbed in books or code, taking breaks to run along the river.

Mruga joins the Dimagi Global Services team as a Technical Field Manager in New Delhi. She holds a graduate degree in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT, Gandhinagar. Prior to joining Dimagi, she was a Technology Consultant with Deloitte where she designed and built consumer-facing, cloud-based software solutions for global enterprises in the healthcare, Insurance, Consumer Products, and Technology sectors. The idea of using the ever-growing mobile technology to solve problems in the community Health space excites her and she wants to help Dimagi create a lasting impact in the underserved communities of the world. She loves solving complex problems and is a sucker for good UX and neat solution design. Outside of work, she likes to go for walks, explore new places/food/ music, read and pretend to be a Jazz singer!
Director of Frontline Programs, CC Connect
Before joining Dimagi, Mercy worked within the Tech4D/ICT4D space focusing on partnership development and program design. This allowed her to incorporate her storytelling skills, her love for writing, and her ability to innately apply human-centered design principles to design projects to maximize the uptake of services and impact within the communities served. Mercy enjoys working with organizations that are working for meaningful change within the public health space and focusing on sustainable impact. From working in emergency rooms in the US to supporting minority groups in the Los Angeles area to access breast cancer resources, Mercy has always been interested in supporting the marginalized and vulnerable. Mercy holds a Public Policy degree from Seattle University, as well as a Public Health graduate degree from Tulane University, centered on health systems management. Over the last few years, Mercy has built up extensive experience within the African context working with development partners and Ministries of Health, supporting community health efforts by leveraging technology. Having lived and worked in Ethiopia, Liberia, Kenya, Uganda, and the US, Mercy enjoys traveling and experiencing new sights, sounds, and foods. Additionally, Mercy enjoys playing tennis, watching sports in general, and is, according to her music teacher, a less-than-average drummer. Allegedly.
Chief Technology Officer
Clayton is the Chief Technology Officer at Dimagi. Since 2006, Clayton has led engineering initiatives in designing and developing ICT systems that improve service delivery at the last mile. At Dimagi, Clayton leads the technical development of CommCare, the world's largest digital health platform. His research has focused primarily on developing clinical protocols for low-resource settings as well as applying human-centered interaction practices to build software systems for the last mile. Prior to Dimagi, Clayton worked as a developer at the Advanced Materials Laboratory division of Sandia National Labs. He has served as a Visiting Lecturer for the User Interface Design and Implementation course within the Department of Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Clayton holds a B.S. and a Masters in Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT.

Amy holds a Masters in International Development from Brandeis University and is passionate about inspiring, empowering, connecting and coaching. With over 10 years of professional experience, she has a comprehensive background in mobile and digital technology across multiple sectors, with particular expertise in planning and implementation of products in the International Development sector. She has a passion to work with global stakeholders, designing and managing international ICT4D products and programs, leading a diverse and multicultural staff, and delivering results when resources and supervision are limited. In her free time, Amy works with her Community Based Organization Catalyst Basketball Movement to promote leadership and social grass-roots level change through the power of sport to craft the leaders of tomorrow in Malawi.
Payroll & Benefits Associate
Mike is the Payroll and Benefits Specialist at Dimagi. In this role, Mike is responsible for processing Dimagi’s payroll in addition to overseeing all benefit related responsibilities. Mike has had an array of experience prior to joining Dimagi managing human resource functions for large, small, non-profit, and tech start-up organizations. Mike received his M.S.M.O.B. from Benedictine University located in Lisle, IL.
Senior Engineer II
Ethan Soergel is an engineer who is passionate about the importance of robust, accessible commons in science, art, and education. He taught himself to code after graduating college, relying heavily on freely available resources. Ethan is an avid user of and occasional contributor to open source software. He is interested in web technologies, collaboration tools, and education. Ethan enjoys biking, telemark skiing, climbing, surfing and other outdoor adventure sports. He also likes travelling on the cheap, cooking, making things and working with his hands. Before getting into coding, Ethan studied physics at the University of Florida. Looking for something more tangible, he switched gears to medicine, with a focus on global health. Luckily, before getting mired in medical school, Ethan decided to concentrate on his lifelong interest in technology and invention, making Dimagi a perfect fit.

Cody is a software developer passionate about system design, agile workflows, and social justice. They landed at Dimagi after three-and-a-half years in the world of business-to-business contact marketing database management out of a belief that the most fulfilling work is work that makes the world a better place. Outside of Dimagi, Cody plays role-playing games, writes music and fiction, anguishes about LGBTQIA+ issues, and spends far too much time obsessing over J.R.R. Tolkien and historical-critical Biblical scholarship.

Calvin joined the Dimagi team in Boston as a Partnerships Manager. Prior to Dimagi, he worked at Oracle in their SaaS division, and at the University of Finance & Economics in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia as a Princeton in Asia Fellow. The intersection of tech and global development has long been of interest to him, and he is excited to make an impact in this field at Dimagi. Outside of work, Calvin enjoys travelling, playing basketball, and Nacho Libre quotes.
Senior Director of Operations
Krishna has been supporting Dimagi’s work in India since 2011 out of New Delhi. He loves getting things done – and is motivated to do so by his exceptionally talented and interesting colleagues. Previously Krishna managed operations at Community Lab, a startup development organization in New York, where he gained an appreciation for interdisciplinary approaches to development. Krishna completed his undergraduate studies in History at New York University, where he was a member of the South Asian Studies Program Initiative and helped organize the first annual Global South Asia Conference. He is a student of the tabla and tries his best to practice every day.
Engineering Manager
Ben is a techno-optimist who is happy to have joined Dimagi’s team as a QA and Support Analyst. He graduated from Bridgewater State University with a B.A. in Corporate Communications and later earned a Graduate Certificate at UMASS Boston in International Development. After his undergrad, Ben worked as an AmeriCorps member at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center advancing food access, providing nutrition education and fostering a love of exercise through play. His introduction to tech was through a medical software firm where he provided customer support and quality assurance testing. Ben has volunteered teaching basic tech literacy in Peru, English in Ecuador and loves speaking Spanish, though is pretty rusty. When not at work, he enjoys running, martial arts, cooking and coffee - one day he hopes to find a way to combine these hobbies.

Jonathan is a software engineer at Dimagi who is excited to work on products that will better people’s lives and especially those who are underserved. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked as a product design engineer for orthotic devices. He had interest in coding after taking introductory courses in school so decided to take the plunge to self-learn coding. He is grateful to be able to apply his skills at a social enterprise with a strong and positive mission. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys lifting heavy things at the gym, eating, traveling, and hiking.

Ayla is a nature loving, travel addict who is completely obsessed with being a mom. She started her career studying bird song and will never (EVER) miss an opportunity to tell you about the ornithological soap operas she watched during her research in Alaska. She later went on to serve as a Conservation Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama and to do a Master’s in International Development. After working with Dimagi, the first time, in Senegal, she took a break to focus on momming and even started a tv show with her sister called Momming Across America about parenting and traveling with kids in the USA. Now she is super excited to be back with Dimagi and living that crazy trying-to-balance-it-all life!
Chief Operating Officer / Co-President, Dimagi
Lucina is both Dimagi’s Chief Operating Officer as well as Dimagi’s Co-President as a voting member of Dimagi’s Executive Committee. As COO, Lucina leads all facets of Dimagi’s Business as well as People Operations, including finance, legal, people operations, and domestic and international operations. As Co-President of Dimagi, Lucina oversees Dimagi’s corporate governance across all of Dimagi’s global divisions and drives key company initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, capital strategy decisions, and cross-divisional change management work streams such as organizational restructuring and leadership transitions. Prior to Dimagi, Lucina’s professional experience includes electrical engineering and consulting for both growing businesses as well as small social impact start-ups. Lucina holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a Bachelors in Applied Sciences in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

As Global Marketing Director, Amie leads the team responsible for defining Dimagi’s brand strategy and driving awareness and demand for its offerings. She is passionate about bringing together creativity, empathy and technology to help people thrive. Amie joins Dimagi with over 15 years of experience including 10 years in B2B technology product marketing bringing innovative, impactful products to market. Most recently, she led a team of product marketers at Autodesk responsible for their industry-leading architecture and engineering software portfolio. Prior to that, she worked in marketing at Salesforce, Change.org and a social enterprise focused on more inclusive credit scoring technology. She started her career in management consulting at Bain and Company. Amie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.
Senior Java Platform Developer
Dave Viggiano is a software developer living in Miami, FL. It has always been important to him to work in a career that helps improve peoples’ lives in a meaningful way, so Dimagi has been a perfect fit! Over his career he has worked in diverse fields including ground-penetrating radar (GPR), ophthalmology, physical therapy, and remote sensing. This has also meant working with diverse technologies including server, web, desktop, and mobile development. Dave earned an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Miami in 2007. When not working, he enjoys being outdoors, travelling, and spending time with his wife, two kids, two cats, and small flock of chickens.
Global Director - Division Operations
Jeremy is the Director of Strategy and Operations for Dimagi’s US Health division. Since joining Dimagi’s India team in 2012, Jeremy has been fortunate to support a wide variety of efforts across Dimagi’s offices and teams, including project management, support, research, knowledge management, and operations. Prior to joining Dimagi he worked as an emerging technologies analyst for the U.S. Navy, a medical research assistant at a teaching hospital, and a farmer on a small family farm. Jeremy studied Biology at the College of William and Mary, and Health Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is based in Richmond, Virginia.

David Warren is a Senior Technical Project Analyst, working on the US Health Team. With his interest in technology and a desire to have a role with greater social impact, David left the corporate sector to join the team at Dimagi. Although David has a BA in European History and a Minor in German, his career path has been focused on technical roles, which have taken him from Germany to the United States. He is an avid musician, being heard once saying: “If it has strings, yeah, I’ll pluck ‘em.” In his spare time, he enjoys cooking for his family and friends, foreign travel, and generally living a life that is inspired by love and guided by reason.

Patty is a Senior Program Manager on the Digital Adherence Team. She joins Dimagi with over 6 years of experience working at the nexus of technology and health, bringing innovative and impactful products to market. Most recently, she worked as a research consultant for Microsoft Research mapping technology platforms involved in the management of TB globally. Prior to that she worked at a connected diagnostics company, UNICEF and the Clinton Global Initiative. Patty holds a Masters in Public Health from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a Bachelors of Arts and Science from McGill University. She is currently finishing her DrPH at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. In her free time Patty enjoys training for marathons, cycling and skiing in the Rocky Mountains and traveling around the world!

Kaleb is a Support Analyst at Dimagi based in Birmingham, Alabama. A lifelong lover of science, Kaleb is always looking to learn through new life experiences and opportunities. After earning a B.S. in Materials Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham he explored his interests in the engineering realm before deciding to pursue his passions in the IT space. Using past experience in production and research environments, equipped with a passion for technology, and the ever increasing drive to create a positive impact on the world, Kaleb is excited to join Dimagi and support their endeavors.

Having worked in different capacities in the social space, Charles is excited to work with Dimagi and be able to contribute towards creating impact. Prior to this, he has experience of working in stakeholder management, project implementation and CSR compliance roles with non-profit organisations as well as corporates.After graduating from Hindu College, Delhi University, he went on to pursue Masters in Social Work from Mumbai University. He has also qualified for the UGC NET. He wishes to be able to touch the lives of people and help them in even the smallest way possible.Charles enjoys performing arts, travelling and being by the beach!
Project Manager
Sagar is a public health professional with nearly a decade of experience across the domains of RMNCH, infectious diseases and health innovations in infectious diseases. He is a graduate in Pharmacy and has completed his Masters in Communication from Ohio University. Before Dimagi, he was working at Intellecap Advisory Solutions as a senior consultant in the health vertical. At Intellecap, Sagar was part of the team working on the USAID Urban Health Initiative in Afghanistan,and a market assessment on hand hygiene in Indonesia. He was part of the technical team at India Health Fund (part of the Tata Trusts), where he led the malaria innovations portfolio, and also was part of the partnerships team. Sagar was part of the impact evaluation team for the Gram Varta program in Bihar. He began his work in public health at SEARCH, in Gadchiroli, where he was a YouthFellow for a year. In his free time he enjoys Indian classical music, especially the Santoor and vocal music, which he is also learning. His other passions include reading, writing, travelling, listening (and endlessly humming) new music. He has regularly written for regional Marathi and English publications about public health and related topics. Recently, he has also been busy in explaining concepts of (basic!) astronomy, like primordial matter and (basic!) virology, about the viral replication of COVID- 19 to his 6-year-old daughter who is eternally curious about everything.
Associate Director - Delivery
Lilianna is excited to work with Dimagi on the implementation of the national-scale ICDS project in India. Lilianna recently completed a Fulbright-Nehru research grant in India where she studied the extent to which technology can assist Anganwadi Workers with the analysis of growth monitoring data. Prior to her Fulbright research grant Lilianna worked at Dimagi on national-level maternal and child health projects in Myanmar and India. Before joining Dimagi she also served as an American India Foundation Clinton Fellow at the technology startup SocialCops in New Delhi where she worked as a member of the Data Team. Lilianna received her BA in International Development Studies from Grinnell College and is functionally fluent in Hindi.

Moumita Biswas has over two decades of experience in public health, spanning project design and implementation, project management, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation. She holds Masters in Anthropology from University of Delhi, and is currently also pursuing Masters in Public Health. She has successfully undertaken implementation and research projects in areas covering public health, WASH, Education, and Nutrition with reputed organisations such as AIIMS (New Delhi), DFID, Mott MacDonald India and The Union. In her last assignment with The Union, she provided technical support to National Tuberculosis Elimination Program in the state of Madhya Pradesh in planning, implementation, monitoring & supervision of TB case finding, strengthening partnerships, and advocacy efforts. Prior to The Union, Moumita has been a Project Manager at Mott MacDonald India, wherein she was responsible for designing and leading projects across the social sector, handling projects to the tune of 2.56 million GBP. Her research papers have been accepted in a number of national and international Conferences. She has authored a few research papers as well, along with her colleagues. Besides her passion for public health, Moumita also loves classical music, painting, reading, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Prateep Chakraborty is the Director -Partnerships at Dimagi. He is currently posted in Delhi where he focuses on developing partnerships to implement solutions that positively impact lives of people at the bottom of the pyramid. Prior to joining Dimagi, Prateep had several years of experience in managing teams, partnership development and program management. He has specifically worked on financial inclusion of underserved populations, livelihoods development, agriculture, experiential learning for children in under-resourced settings, inclusive development for people with disabilities, emergencies and disaster risk reduction. During this time, among other things, he set up an independent country office in Nepal, commenced and scaled up an organic farming intervention and worked with farmer producer organisations in the state of Uttar Pradesh to increase their incomes. He has worked in five countries. Prateep holds an undergraduate degree in biotechnology and an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
Senior Project Analyst
Saumyadeb is a development practitioner with an avid interest in research and data-driven decision making. He took a different route than his peers since completing his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from York University in Toronto by taking a deep dive into the development sector of India. Since then, he has used his knowledge and experience to help implement Watershed Development programs at the grassroot level across the drought-prone areas of Maharashtra and Jharkhand. He further helped implement an urban WASH program funded by the USAID in the smart cities of Dharamshala and Jaipur. Saumyadeb also led an innovative direct cash transfer program for 2.5 years with urban poor households of these cities to add to the existing knowledge of government welfare programs. He loves to get his hands dirty with the projects that he works on and takes his time to understand the nuances of the geography and community as much as possible. He enjoys travelling, learning new languages, customs, traditions and lives of different communities across the Indian heartlands. Saumyadeb loves meaningful conversations and he is easily moved by films and people that can provide him the same. He is an avid fan of football and dreams to watch a football match of Manchester United at Old Trafford one day. He also loves to read books and retains very specific and obscure information about things. He is heavily influenced by the 60’s and 70’s rock bands and took up playing the guitar to sound like them. A big part of his life has been about travelling and he becomes fidgety if travels don’t happen at regular intervals. Another significant part has been about food and swears by his two favourite items – fish and biryani. He hopes to write a book one day to pen down his learnings from life!

Her expertise lies in Stakeholder management, design and implementation of complex government IT projects, managing project health and estimating cost and efforts for complex uncertain projects. She has closely worked with 12+ Government bodies on various projects aimed at solving complex social problems. Currently, she is Director at Dimagi. As part of her role at Dimagi, she had managed the implementation of world’s largest ever mHealth intervention under ICDS program. ICDS program has a national outreach to thousands of Anganwadi Workers across India, targeted at tackling nutrition related issues. In her free time, you will find Neelima playing with her daughter Parnikaa or trying to cook something which others can digest. If not doing these, she is reading some spiritual stuff and finding appropriate reasons for her existence in the universe.

My name is Sharof. I am 30 years old. I was born on 25th of July 1992 in Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan. I graduated from Tajik Technical University in 2014 and after that I have worked for Aga Khan Foundation as field data collector and data entry operator, then I have worked as consultant for GIZ Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit for 5 months. Herein she is responsible for end to end project delivery including stakeholder and scope management, design and implementation of different projects across diverse sectors. She is working on a project which aims to inculcate resilience and enhance well-being amongst the frontline workers, who are dealing with stress and burnout by virtue of their nature of work. She is also working on a project which aims for improving maternal and child health outcomes, specifically in the first 1000 days of life to reach out to targeted beneficiaries for feedback, grievance redressal and counselling through optimal actions based on community satisfaction and service provisions. Prior to this, Jot was with VisionSpring Foundation where she worked to foster partnerships with national and international funders to provide the gift of vision to beneficiaries working under USD 4 a day. Overall, she has a work experience of 11 years and has worked across various thematic areas in the development sector ranging from eye care, animal welfare, skill development, primary education and good governance.Jot holds a Masters degree in Finance Control from Panjab University, Chandigarh, Punjab, India and Diploma in International Relations from University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia. Zohaib holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. A die-hard FC Barcelona fan, Zohaib likes discussing various football tactics and strategies and wishes to someday watch Messi play live. Akash Lohi is Project Analyst at Dimagi's India Division at New Delhi, India. He was born and brought up in various states of India, giving him exposure to a multiplex of cultures and traditions, making it easier for him to understand and adapt to people and situations. He completed his MBA in Marketing/Operations in 2020 from Nirma University, where he was also a member of Students Welfare for the batch. In his first job, he joined the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and worked with them for one and a half years as a project assistant on a large-scale project for the Department of Science and Technology. His responsibilities were stakeholder management, relationship management, performance management, and schedule management. He is passionate about the Impact he can make in the world and contributions that his work makes to society, which brought him to Dimagi. In his free time, he can be seen in his nerdy natural element, reading-learning random topics, listening to old-school songs, bingeing anime, or playing with any dog. She comes with prior management experience of working in a Corporate across differentlocations in India managing a portfolio for South Asia region. Driven by his journalistic streak to understand the hows and whys of challenges faced in the development sector, Rishabh comes to Dimagi with a zeal to learn how technology can provide effective solutions to some of the most pressing issues on the ground. He has worked towards fostering partnerships with a number of organisations in the domain of social protection, financial inclusion, elder care and child rights. In his last role at India Alliance for Child Rights, he coordinated a national forum for ending violence against children in India. Previously, at Invest India Micro Pension Services, he managed partnerships with implementing organisations on the ground enabling low income workers across the country towards old age income security. Arti Sahu serves as a Customer Success & Partnerships Manager within Dimagi's SaaS Division in New Delhi, India. While she completed her B.Tech in Computer Engineering in 2015, her rural background guided her towards directing her enthusiasm for community service through Community Empowerment Lab (CEL), an evidence and innovation-driven research organization dedicated to saving the lives of newborns and mothers.During her tenure at CEL, she was Director of Community Partnerships, amassing a valuable seven years of experience working closely with mothers, community members, facility health workers, and government stakeholders. She spearheaded CEL's flagship Agrimaa program, which involved young women leaders volunteering to provide respectful care to mothers and newborns within public health facilities. Notably, she led the successful deployment of the Kangaroo Care App across more than 140 government health facilities in Uttar Pradesh, India. After a year at Dimagi, where Arti served as a Partnerships Manager, she has assumed the added role of Customer Success Manager. Leveraging her practical insights and partnership skills to drive greater social impact through technology, she will collaborate with a variety of partners, spanning grassroots organizations to government ministries. Her focus will be on facilitating the optimal utilization of mobile technologies in areas such as education, health, agriculture, and more. Freddie has a large appetite for life and over the last few years, he has worked in various capacities across the social entrepreneurship, consulting and investment banking sectors in India and elsewhere – from a project in the airlines industry with Accenture to engaging with urban ingenuity, inclusive growth, employing the creative arts to impact local communities and teaching the underprivileged children at a community park due to lack of a classroom facility with Touch India Trust to handling some of the world’s biggest hedge fund clients on Wall Street with Deutsche Bank. During this diverse personal epoch, there was a lot of learning, unlearning, travelling, writing, good conversations, numbers, fantastic company, literature and lots of tea/coffee. The larger picture drives him and real contributions/solutions excite him. He jumped off the corporate bandwagon to join Dimagi’s operations team in India and he hopes to explore the international development field in the longer run with this change - a prophecy and conviction, which in part has evolved from his past work experiences and personal reflections. He believes in miracles and is excited about interdisciplinary approaches in offering long term correctives to address global issues. A resident of Delhi most of her life, Akshita spent her early childhood in a small village in the hilly state of Himachal Pradesh with her grandparents. Akshita, oftentimes finds herself humming the tunes of old Hindi songs, while organizing her room. She loves reading prose in English, Hindi and Urdu languages. Akshita is also a newbie traveler and shares a love-hate relationship with food. She wishes to live in France for at least a year, and is currently learning French.

Aathithya Sidtharthan hails from the southern part of Tamil Nadu, India: He works as a Technical Project Analyst under the India Division. Prior to this, he worked with Standard Chartered Bank GBS as an Analyst for 3.5 years. He got his undergraduate degree in computer science from Shiv Nadar University, Chennai.He aspires to make changes in the health sector to achieve quality care at scale, which further inspired him to join Dimagi.He is passionate about multiple hobbies – he is an avid reader and traveler, a freelance designer, an outdoor person, and always likes to be engaged with sports and fitness activities. Rama Siva is the Director of Product & Technology at Dimagi, where his role is to help envision and build a 'direct to frontline worker' platform to enhance the income and capabilities of frontline workers. Prior to Dimagi, Rama led the creation of digital products across the education and primary health sectors in India and Kenya that reached over half a million users. He spent the initial few years of his career in silicon valley as an engineer and Product Manager. Rama greatly enjoys working on transformative ideas and translating them into specific solutions that delights the user. His other passion is to be outdoors hiking a mountain or camping in the bush.

Passionate about creating change, Dhivya took the road less travelled and joined ICICI Fellows Leadership Programme post her graduation focused on experiential learning through development projects with rural-based NGOs. She worked with Aajeevika Bureau to empower de-facto women headed migrant households in tribal areas of Southern Rajasthan by living with the locals in a small village. This was truly a defining moment in her life! Moving back to Chennai, she worked at Dvara Trust (Previously known as IFMR) on financial inclusion where she was responsible to improve wealth management strategies through digital services for low-income households (across various functions) who did not have access to formal financial institutions. Having picked up varied skills, Dhivya now joins Dimagi as a Field Manager to broaden her horizon on ICT4D. With keen interest in Design Thinking and behavior change approach, she is excited (hoping) to also explore the possibilities of using some of these in her work going forward. In her free time, she loves encouraging small start-ups that focus on providing simple but powerful solutions to critical social issues such as promoting rural artisans, eco-friendly products and free education for the underprivileged. Besides her passion for development, Dhivya is a trained singer in Indian classical (Carnatic) music. Love for semi-classical music gave her opportunities to perform in the All India Radio (AIR) and participate in a musical reality show years ago. She is also exploring how art forms/therapy can be a powerful tool to help influence society. Gallivanting across different parts of the country, Dhivya is always on the lookout for new experiences, culture and cuisines. One day, she hopes to have travelled to most parts of the world gathering priceless memories and reflecting on how travelling shaped up her personality. Senior Director, Partnerships
Lakshman is leading the partnership and business development for Dimagi in its India Division. Currently based at Mumbai, he will oversee all partner relationships in India and Asian region. Lakshman Joined Dimagi in March 2022 and is working with social sector institutions and development partners towards co-creating technological solutions that can help deliver quality service and thereby creating sustainable outcomes. Prior to this, Lakshman was with Tata Trusts for 6 years and was responsible for the establishment of their Nutrition Portfolio. During the Tenure with Nutrition, the focus area of intervention was on driving staple food fortification and creating pilots for adoption and scale-up by the Government in the social safety programs. Prior to moving to the social sector, Lakshman has worked for over 15 years in the corporate sector with GE and Reliance Industries. Lakshman is a Mathematics Honors Graduate and holds a MBA degree in Marketing from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Puttaparathy, Andhra Pradesh, India . He also has a Certification in Business Analytics.
Technical Director
Ankita is a Director of Technology at Dimagi. She is an ICT4D professional with over 20 years of experience in product engineering, technology strategy, digital transformation, and technology consulting. She is passionate about using new-age technology to bring grassroots-level impact. She has led several large transformative public digital health programs in Asia and Africa. Ankita loves breaking down technology and its benefits into simple, relatable terms and explaining them to grassroots-level non-IT users. She has worked across the globe in the corporate world and the social sector, and therefore, she brings in the best of both perspectives. She has worked in various roles, starting from programmer to enterprise architect. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Ankita is a travel and food geek who is always looking to explore new countries and cuisines.
Project Manager
Namrata is a field manager with Dimagi Global Services at New Delhi, India. Prior to this, she worked as a district lead in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, with the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation and the Tata Trusts in the Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin (a nationwide programme to address the challenges in the area of sanitation in the country). Academically, Namrata holds a Master’s in Sustainable Livelihoods and Natural Resources Governance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. There she also completed a semester as an exchange student at the Alpen Adria University, Austria studying Social Ecology. She loves working with rural communities and diligently believes in the methods of participatory research and action. She also appreciates (borderline loves) things with glitter and experimenting with different kinds of cuisines and drinks.
Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
Born and raised in a small city of Odisha, Kiran chose to pursue her love for technology and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering.She has been supporting Dimagi’s work as a QA Analyst since 2019. Kiran's always been equal parts right and left brain so she geeks out equally to eating and craving food. The only thing she likes better than talking about food is eating! (~˘▾˘)~
Senior Project Analyst
Hya is a Senior Project Analyst on the Digital Adherence Team. She graduated Computer Engineering at the Mapua University in the Philippines. Her first job was as Junior Software Developer in a BPO company designing and developing systems for medical transcription and image capture and processing. Thereafter, she performed different roles in the IT world as Application Support Team Lead, Software Manager, Business Analyst, Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, and as Product Owner. She gained knowledge and years of experience in the private sector and international development organizations. She worked previously with Plan International, World Vision, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap, and GiZ. Outside of work, Hya spends her time doing DIYs, sewing, crocheting, and embroidery projects. If there's an opportunity, she sells her works in hand-made bazaars. She can play the piano; her favorite pieces are The River Flows In You by Yurima and The Butterfly Waltz by Brian Crain. When she travels, she makes sure to try local foods and locally made vinegar. She is not the sporty type but can plays table tennis and badminton fine. She is a mother to two grown-ups. And strongly supports and advocates on Autism Awareness, inclusion and diversity.
Business Development and Partnerships Manager
Vitrishna has joined Dimagi as Senior Associate in a program design and partnerships role for Dimagi’s practices focused on large bilateral funding and is currently posted in Delhi. Vitrishna is a development professional and has 5+ years of experience in project and operations management, business development, and strategic partnerships. Vitrishna is passionate to learn how technology can be leveraged to amplify impact and improve the lives of people living in low and middle-income countries through strategic collaborations and partnerships. Before joining Dimagi, Vitrishna was associated with a research and data science organization catering to the development sector, as a business development and partnerships manager. She has also worked with CARE India in Bihar on a large-scale public health mandate. She holds a postgraduate degree in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service. In her leisure hours, she can mostly be found watching movies/web series, exploring Delhi for its architectural heritage and food, and listening to music.
QA Lead
Akanksha joins Dimagi as a member of the QA team and holds a B.Tech Degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Inclined towards social causes from a very early age, she was amazed by Dimagi's core concept which led her to join it with full enthusiasm. Before joining Dimagi, Akanksha spent some time doing quality assurance for projects in various domains like Franchising, Utility and Aviation. Born and brought up in Delhi-NCR, she loves sweating it out by running, zumba and climbing stairs. At the same time, she is a big vegetarian foodie and loves experimenting with everything that’s edible!! And when not taking/burning calories, she enjoys cooking, listening to old songs, watching movies and being outdoors to the extent that traveling the whole world is her ultimate desire!
Senior Associate, Business Development - BD Ops
Arshiya joined in as an Associate on Dimagi's Business Development team in June 2021. She is passionate about tackling global issues and build mentoring communities. She is a Master of Business and Science graduate from Rutgers University, and has an undergrad in Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Prior to Dimagi, she has experience working with a the commercial team of an NJ based cleantech company, and as a Business Development Manager for a Delhi based global community, where she led a partnership with Government of India bridging the boardroom classroom divide for over 1.6 million students. She enjoys exploring new foods, places, cultures, and is an introvert who likes networking.

Pawan is a software engineer at Dimagi. He is passionate about technology and open-source software. With a B.Sc. degree in computer science, Pawan started his journey as a software engineer working at a startup. He is a problem solver at heart and enjoys the challenge of creating innovative solutions to complex technical problems that make a difference in people's lives. When not coding, he enjoys hiking in the mountains or relaxing on a beach, watching movies/series, reading books and working out.
Technical Project Analyst
Pallavi is an ergophile, who was born and brought up in lands of Lord Buddha, i.e., Bihar. She joined Dimagi as a Technical Project Analyst in 2023. She has completed her graduation in Electronics and Communications Engineering and her interests majorly lies in Data, Business & Project Analysis. She also has vivid experience in Intellectual Properties and Ed-tech industry. She acknowledges Dimagi’s ideology of working for the welfare of society and hence growing itself as a business. This collides with Pallavi’s long-term goal of being a professional with a high set of skills and utilizing the same to be an integral part of the development of society. She is passionate about teaching & believes that “Knowledge not shared is knowledge wasted”. Apart from this, Pallavi loves reading fiction, cooking, exploring domestic and international cuisines and spending time with friends and family.

After completing her MBA from the University Of Strathclyde in Scotland, Sunaina wanted to utilise her skills to build great products and benefit an impactful cause. Dimagi, she thought was the ideal place to make a difference by finding connections between her skills and the needs of the society. Prior to joining the company, she developed strong QA and IT skills while working with Standard & Poor's as a Quality Engineer and also gained comprehensive strategy and consulting experience during her tenure in the United Kingdom. She is excited about the contributions she can make as a Technical Project Analyst at Dimagi. Apart from work she is extremely passionate about sports and fitness. She enjoys badminton, cycling, hiking, trekking, is a trained contemporary dancer and can often be found participating in sports events.
Senior Applications Engineer
I have joined Dimagi India as a Project Technical Architect in New Delhi. I hold a graduate degree in Computer Engineering from Delhi College of Engineer (Delhi University). Prior to joining Dimagi, I was Senior Member of Technical Staff with Oracle India where I was employed to develop and handle projects as per the customer requirements in various cloud-based software and PAAS. I believe in ‘Butterfly effect’ where even a small change somewhere can make a huge impact in some other part of the world. Dimagi’s initiative to digitize the community health is one small change which makes a huge positive impact in improving the health condition around various communities in the world. And that’s what excites me. Apart from solving complex issues and tackling technical glitches, I like to travel a lot. Exploring new places, meeting new people, getting to know their stories is what I thrive for. Someday I would like to visit each and every country on this planet before I meet the clay.

Eric is a Project Analyst at Dimagi. He is from Mozambique and completed Honours Degree in Computer Science, a partial MBA in Oil and Gas and a Nanodegree in Data Analysis. In most of his career he has been working at Vodacom Mozambique, but prior to Dimagi he was working at Pernord Ricard as a Brand Ambassador. During this time, he was exposed to many projects, as well as operational work, both, as a ripple of his beingdrawn to customer service. But the spirit of work for a social impact came back in 2015 when he became a co-founder of a group of creatives from different areas in Mozambique and the main mission was to promote the Mozambican culture which lead to winning an award for the most innovative group.

Lamine Boubacar Baidari is a seasoned professional with expertise in product management, project management, and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Project Analyst for Dimagi, Lamine leverages his diverse background and skills to drive successful project implementation and ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions. Prior to his role at Dimagi, Lamine held positions at renowned organizations, including Atos, where he worked as a software engineer, and PEG Africa and Bboxx, where he excelled as a Product Manager. In these roles, he was responsible for overseeing product development, managing project timelines, and ensuring seamless execution of software engineering initiatives. Lamine holds an Engineer degree in Telecommunications, further complemented by an MBA in Project Management. He has also obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), underscoring his commitment to maintaining industry best practices.

I am a Project Analyst at Dimagi. I am from Senegal where I graduated with a Master in Computer Science. My main Goal is always to build systems that make life easier especially for low-income and underserved communities. From learning tools systems for primary school children to systems that help the informal sector better manage their business etc… I had the chance to work on great projects. But Dimagi gives me the opportunity to scale up by working on even bigger projects with even more impact and in several countries. I am sure I will succeed at that and at the same time, develop my skills in Project Management as well as Data Analysis for even more impact.

Eunice is a Grants and Finance Associate at Dimagi based in Johannesburg South Africa. She is from Zimbabwe and did her undergraduate studies at Chinhoyi University of Technology (Zim) and postgraduate studies in Specialized Accounting at University of Witwatersrand. Eunice supports the broader Project Finance team in managing the financial, contractual and administrative requirements of Dimagi’s projects.. She hopes to make a positive impact at Dimagi.When not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Director of Technology - GSO
Lisa is Director of Technology in the Global Strategy & Operations Division at Dimagi, with a focus of supporting Dimagi’s New Business, Research and Development, and Office of the CEO teams. Lisa is based in Cape Town. After completing an Engineering degree in KwaZulu-Natal, she started her career as a C++ Developer in the UK. With her heart and family in South Africa, she returned and found her inspiration as a developer in small startups. A retrenchment from a cash strapped startup in 2021 nudged Lisa into a new direction. Co-founding a custom software development company with the dream of building a SaaS product. After about 10 years when the software product was the foundation of BriefYourMarket.com, she left to pursue adventures in smaller teams. Prior to working at Dimagi, she led a SaaS product development team in a Tech4Good UK company delivering mobile eLearning and digital solutions that work on cheap, low resource legacy phones. In her free time, Lisa used to spend it going up and down mountains. Now looking at mountains and relaxing in wild nature is her treat.

Glitter is an Engineering Manager at Dimagi. She is passionate about helping people, about growing efficient teams, and helping developers thrive. She believes in leadership over management. She has several years’ experience working in the software development field across different industries. Prior to joining Dimagi she worked as a software developer, a software development manager, and a scrum master. Outside of work she enjoys baking, taking long walks and spending her time with her family.

Rutendo is a Senior Project Analyst in Dimagi’s Solutions division. Born in Zimbabwe, Rutendo has always had a passion for health and social impact. Rutendo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics attained at the Nelson Mandela University, South Africa. She has previous experience as an Android application developer and has worked recently worked ICT and education for underprivileged learners in South Africa. Rutendo enjoys going on adventures, hiking, cooking and baking, and having a good laugh.
Corporate Operations Manager
Tariro is a Corporate Operations Manager on Dimagi’s Corporate Operations Team. She is from Zimbabwe and did her undergraduate studies in Social Sciences and Law, respectively, at the University of Cape Town. After her studies, she pursued a career in law which opened her up to opportunities that made her develop the ability to use her legal background to assist clients all over the world. Her move to Dimagi was motivated by her appreciation for technologies that bring access to services for societies in remote areas.

Aubrey Chirwa is based in Malawi. He has joined Dimagi as Senior Technical Project Analyst under Solutions division. He has participated in and completed community development programs such as the YALI RSL fellowship and Incubate Malawi under the Growth Africa initiative Aubrey shares a great interest in the core values of Dimagi to make an impact. Gaining prior work experience within the digital health arena in Malawi, Aubrey has worked as a Product Owner and Project Coordinator with Baobab Health Trust supporting the Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS programmatic areas under the CDC and The Global Fund grants. He has also briefly worked with a consultant providing clients with financial system integrations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Malawi, the Polytechnic.

She is from Zimbabwe and did her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Chemical Engineering and Engineering Management, respectively, at Stellenbosch University. Her postgraduate research focused on determining the potential of mHealth technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa and through that she developed an interest in the field. After her studies, she pursued careers in management consulting and business analysis which opened her up to opportunities that made her develop the ability to use her engineering background to solve real world problems through innovation and data analysis. Her move to Dimagi was motivated by her appreciation for technologies that bring access to services for societies in remote areas. Curtis is a Senior Project Analyst on the Digital Adherence Team. As a determined young man, he started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 18. He worked hard and successfully expanded his business, eventually joining forces with his father and brothers in the family enterprise. There, he excelled in the market, introducing new products and becoming an expert in sales and relationship building. After his father's retirement, Curtis and his brothers decided to venture out on their own, starting two new businesses in Cape Town and Joburg, specializing in importing and exporting natural stone products. Curtis took on the role of General Manager and relocated his family to Cape Town, where he led the branch with his sharp business acumen. However, life is full of surprises, and in 2019, Curtis made the decision to return to his hometown of East London to be closer to his family. He joined a corporate IT company and quickly climbed the ranks, becoming the youngest member of the management team as the Product Support Manager. He excelled in various departments, contributing to marketing, sales, product development, and even business and systems analysis. Outside of work, Curtis has a passion for running and has accomplished almost 30 marathons, including some ultra-marathons. He also cherishes his time with his family, engaging in activities such as traveling, playing board games, watching documentaries, and bonding over exciting FIFA matches on the Xbox. Brian DeRenzi is a computer scientist with extensive field experience in applying information technologies to help organizations address poverty in low-income settings. He has published and lectured extensively in ICT4D, HCI, and public health. Brian led the field work the initial CommCare, working closely with organizations and community health workers in East Africa. Prior to joining Dimagi, he helped launch the health research group at IBM Research — Africa in Nairobi and was an Assistant Professor (equivalent) in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cape Town. Brian holds a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Washington and was a Fulbright Fellow.

Before his current position, Getachew worked with different government and non-government organizations in different public health projects in Ethiopia. Adama Diallo is currently working at Dimagi as a Technical Project Analyst in the Global Services Team. He is based in Dakar/Senegal, and he is passionate about the world of ITC and the impact that it has in people’s daily life. A versatile engineer with 10 years of experience, Adama is specialized in the development and implementation of IT tools for the automation of business processes and decision-making support. Fan of Hercule Poirot, Ismaila strives to grow a mustache as famous and as amazing as Agatha Christie’s main character. On a more serious note, currently, based out of Senegal, Ismaila leads the Delivery team of the Solutions Division and is the Regional Lead for West Africa at Dimagi. Ismaila has previous experiences as multi-task analyst (from support analyst to business analyst, with some project management on top) in the Asset Management sector in Paris and London, and as an IT auditor in Western Africa. Papa Massamba Diop has joined Dimagi as Technical Project Analyst. He is a Software Engineer, having graduated from Thies Polytechnic (Senegal) with a degree in computer science & telecommunications. Prior to joining Dimagi in July 2021, he mostly has worked in Senegalese companies as a software developer, helping his employers to design and implement modern IT solutions. Massamba is convinced that life is all about learning, solving problems and making difference. By the way, he was very fascinated by Dimagi's desire to improve people's day-to-day lives… which led him to his current role! PMD strongly believes that what really matters is our ability to leverage our technical skills to solve new and exciting challenges that impact the world!!!
A&C Finance Associate
Elmé is a Finance Administrator at Dimagi South Africa. She had finished her Bachelors in Psychology and thought she was on her way to help people through this field when she found her love for finance. It all started as an admin job at a local Tire Retailer. She continued this newfound career in finance and joined an Online Fashion Retailer where she grew from being the Accounts Assistant to a Bookkeeper in the 5 years at the company. Elmé is excited for the journey at Dimagi as she still holds a passion for people and wants to be part of a team that makes a great impact in the world. When she is not busy running a report or crunching the numbers, she is probably out running next to the beach or doing crunches in her home gym.
Software Engineer
Zandre had his first taste of coding at a young age where he decided to delve in the world of programming with C++. From there, his passion only grew as he went on to graduate from Southern New Hampshire with a BSc in Computer Science. Using these skills, Zandre aims to contribute to creating real positive change through developing software that can improve the lives of others. This has led him to Dimagi, where he jumped at the opportunity to be able to create and work on socially impactful software. Outside of the coding realm, Zandre enjoys both playing and creating video games. He also enjoys spicy food, spending time with his family and has a (not) so secret love for all things Lego. He is always eager to try new things, so long as it doesn't involve jumping off an airplane to go skydiving!

Birame is a Senior Project Analyst at Dimagi. He has nearly 10 years of experience in the management of automotive projects in France and Morocco for several car manufacturers. He left Senegal in 2004, and his goal was to come back to Africa and have a job that will allow him to have an impact on people's daily lives. Joining Dimagi's teams allows him to accomplish this mission. In his free time, he spends time with his family and friends. His new challenge is to discover Africa and to show it to his children.

Adjo joined Dimagi in her capacity as HR Administrator based in Dakar. She has more +10 years of experience spanning various industries in the public and private sectors. She is pursuing a master’s degree in HR to complement her degree in sociology which shows her interest in people management. In her Dimagi journey, she looks forward to positively impacting people’s life directly by offering a unique experience aligned with Dimagi values to employees who in turn by delivering on their missions and projects, will help others thrive. I am Nazier Heynes from Cape Town, South Africa. I joined Dimagi as a Technical Project Analyst. I studied at the University of Western Cape and obtained a 4 year Bachelor's Degree and also managed to become a certified Software Tester via South African Software Testing Qualifications Board. I spent most of my working years in the FinTech space, delivering software solutions to clients in South Africa. The Islamic studies I am pursuing opened and changed my heart to a desire to do something more meaningful that will benefit or help others. That's when I found Dimagi, and Dimagi found me, and we share common goals and values. My vision is to be part of and deliver many projects at Dimagi that will help many people through social impact; in Islam, we call this a continuous charity.
Senior Engineer
Norman is an engineer who joined Dimagi in order to use his software development skills to make more of a positive difference. Norman believes in readable code, and that testability can help to make code simpler. He was once heard telling a friend that Python is the e.e.cummings of programming languages. He comes to Dimagi from the IPT industry, and before that, he had his own software consultancy. Outside the office Norman enjoys reading, writing, and solving the world's problems over a glass of wine with friends. For Norman, Dimagi is an opportunity to do more than just talk about solutions.

Tafadzwa is a Field Manager at Dimagi in the Solutions division based in Cape Town, South Africa. Director of Consumer Innovations
Gayatri comes to Dimagi with an interest in using Dimagi’s tools to increase access to healthcare and education for under-served communities in India and around the world. At Dimagi, Gayatri works on projects that are focused on gender-based violence prevention, family planning, intrapartum care and others. Prior to Dimagi, Gayatri was a project manager at Hippocampus Learning Centres, a social enterprise in Bangalore. At HLC, Gayatri worked on developing and rolling out a low-cost Math program to villages in northern Karnataka. Her interest in delivering services to low-income communities stems from a year spent in the mountain kingdom of Lesotho in southern Africa where she taught at a high school for girls in the village of Raleqheka. Gayatri grew up in New Delhi and has a B.A. in Economics from Grinnell College. She is excited to be back in Delhi and travel across the country as a field manager for Dimagi.
Technical Customer Success Manager (Consultant)
Dawkin’s is passionate about using technology to improve people’s lives. He is a Technical Project Manager with more than 10 years of experience, using mobile technologies to bridge the digital divide and aid economic development in Africa. Before working at Dimagi, Dawkin's worked mostly with international NGOs and social enterprises in the field of ICT4D (Digital Health and ICT4Ag) across 5 African countries (Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali, Tanzania, and Togo). His last position was Digital Health Manager in an NGO in Togo.He has been using CommCare Since 2015 and in 2017 when he was working on a Malaria mHealth project at Save The Children International in Ivory Coast as mHealth Officer, he attended the training of Commcare Project Managers organized by Dimagi West Africa in Dakar.After having been on the client-side, he joined Dimagi as a Technical Customer Success Manager on the CS team in April 2021. He is based in Lomé, Togo, and works on the technical aspect of DHIS2 <> CommCare self-service integration offering to SaaS customers.

After graduating from the University of Cape Town with a Masters in Electrical Engineering Simon spent several years working on mHealth projects in and around South Africa. He joined Dimagi after a short period in the online advertising industry where he worked on large scale SAO systems. Simon has a passion for developing efficient systems that people enjoy using. He greatly prefers working on open systems and believes that building good software starts with building good relationships. Outside of work Simon loves the outdoors, particularly the African bush where he spent many family holidays growing up. Simon spends his time off enjoying the company of his wife and friends in and around the beautiful city of Cape Town. He's often out walking his dog and is also quite involved in his local church.

Shahid has a strong passion for Customer Success and Business Development. He joined Dimagi as a Support Analyst, working within the SaaS team and loves engaging in conversations with team members, clients and partners. Shahid has a Diploma in Information Technology with majors in Information Systems and Programming, along with a certificate in PC Engineering. He previously worked at SupportYourApp. At Dimagi, Shahid aims to grow within the company as he sees endless possibilities and opportunities available to ensure personal and professional development. He aims to further contribute his expertise in supporting users of CommCare and ensuring that client’s are supported within the SLA. Shahid enjoys quality family time, cycling along the beach or taking a swim. He also enjoys the South African tradition of “braaing” meat for special occasions. However, my passion for driving social impact led me back to Senegal, where I managed and implemented technology solutions and projects for organizations like myAgro and Viamo. With an engineering degree in computer science and a Masters in Industrial Engineering, I possess a strong foundation in both technical expertise and strategic thinking. When not at work, I enjoy playing tennis, striving to stay fit, exploring new destinations, and unwinding on the beach. Theo is an Associate on Dimagi’s Business Development team. She completed an undergraduate degree in International Studies from Stellenbosch University, an honours in Development Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand and is completing a masters in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Cape Town. Her postgraduate research focuses on how mobile phone e-government can be used to ensure access to public services. Prior to Dimagi, she worked at Intel in the Governments, Markets, and Trade division and was a board member of the South African chapter of the Internet Society where she was exposed to the synergy between policy, partnerships and projects. Theo is deeply passionate about the intersection between technology and development, and she seeks to continue to contribute to the deployment of more inclusive and purposeful technologies at Dimagi.

Yoliswa is a Applications Engineer at Dimagi. He graduated from the University of South Africa with a BSc in Computer Science and Information Technology and then went on to complete a Post Grad Diploma in Business Administration at the Management College of South Africa. Having worked as a Software Engineer and an Implementation Consultant in previous roles and in a few different capacities in non profit organizations , the opportunity to work for a greater good professionally is what drew Yoliswa to Dimagi. He believes that humanity can do amazing things using low and high tech solutions. Amos Misomali is Director of Country Programs for Dimagi in Malawi. He represents Dimagi in Malawi, and his role includes managing partnership relations and supporting digital health implementation as the face of Dimagi. Before joining Dimagi, Amos has worked as Resident Advisor for Johns Hopkins University supported evaluation project; Resident Logistics Advisor for John Snow (JSI) Research & Training Institute, Inc.; Programme Officer and later Head of Programme for World Food Programme in Malawi; National Logistics Officer for World Food Programme in Malawi; and Management Trainee (Finance and Procurement/Supply) with Air Malawi Limited. Areas of expertise include project/programme coordination, partnership development, logistics management, and development research. He has an MA in Economics, an MSc in Strategic Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Eyoel Mitiku is the Associate Director of Country Programs in Ethiopia at Dimagi. A proud Addis Ababa University graduate, he was encouraged to pursue a career in Information systems by his desire for new experiences and challenges in the Tech industry. Prior to working at Dimagi, Eyoel was the Digital Health Advisor at JSI, where he was in charge of coordinating consortium activities, application, and dashboard development. Clara is a Senior Project Analyst in Dimagi’s Solutions division. Clara is from Malawi where her work experience includes roles such as a Risk and Advisory Consultant for Deloitte and an IT Project Manager for Angle Dimension. Clara recently graduated cum laude from Nelson Mandela University with a master’s degree in Computer Science and Information Systems. She also has an honours degree in Computer Science and Information Systems and a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems.Coming from a developing country, Clara’s goal has always been to create technologies that service developing communities and improve the lives of people. She joined Dimagi in September 2019 because of the opportunity Dimagi provides to collaborate with other organisations on projects that deliver a social impact in low-income and underserved communities. Livhuwani Mongwe is part of the support team in the SaaS division. She has worked for I-TECH and wore many hats during her tenure at I-TECH. Livhuwani worked as a support analyst supporting PEPFAR-South Africa and the National Department of Health in South Africa. Livhuwani was part of the original team members who started the informatics unit at I-TECH. A team which she eventually led when she transitioned to a role as a data analyst. Livhu is passionate about empowering people to use technology confidently, she has worked on a community based project for a disadvantaged community teaching advanced computer literacy. During her downtime she loves to spend time with family and friends, quality time is important. She believes that food is life and that life is meant to be enjoyed through laughter. Muazu is a Senior Project Analyst at Dimagi. He has a BSc in Software Engineering and an MSc in Business Information Technology. Prior to joining Dimagi, Muazu worked as a Programme Analyst and Health ICT Officer at the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency for a decade. In this role, he played a vital role in supporting the state's healthcare initiatives, focusing on the development, implementation, deployment, and training of staff on digital health interventions. Being frequently on the field, he has seen firsthand the impact of digital health tools on the lives of people in underserved, remote, hard-to-reach areas. He believes that these digital health technologies can improve the quality of healthcare services and help in achieving Universal Healthcare Coverage (UHC) for all. In his spare time, Muazu enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in some farm activities, and watching movies.

His role is to ensure the presence and implementation of the expansion strategy of Dimagi and CommCare in Mozambique. As well as stakeholders’ management and support to the projects in implementation. Prior to Dimagi, for over 15 years, Leovegildo worked in the Maintenance and Engineering Construction environment as A Senior Project, Program and Portfolio Management, and Managing Director. Leovegildo holds a B-Tech Electrical Engineering from TuT- Pretoria SA, and MSc Project Management from Salford University – Manchester UK

Codou is a Senior Project Manager on Dimagi’s global services team in West Africa. Passionate with Finance, she has worked for four years in financial markets (Risk management and Trading) before deciding to return to her home country Senegal in order to support projects that were helping the continent. This leads her to join a consulting firm which elaborate strategic plans for countries and companies in west and central Africa. Joining Dimagi was a way for her to work on projects which will helps improve populations’ condition and also have immediate impact. Codou has an engineering degree in computer science and two master degrees in financial engineering and risk management.

Abdoul joined dimagi as Technical project Analyst since January 2021.He has a background in IT with an experience of more than 6 years with an engineering degree in Computer and Telecom.His desire to help people by using technology to facilitate their work was born during a mission. He volunteered to do a job as an IT support / Interviewer on the territory of Senegal (in the so-called difficult territories). He was charmed by the will of the agents despite the precarious conditions they had at their disposal to do their work. The love they had for what they were doing made him want to help them, to participate in making an impact in their lives.Since then Abdoul has been bringing his expertise to NGOs. The IT industry has seen my services for over 30 years. Paulo have been well exposed to various industries including human resources, training and education, accounting, banking, money market, insurance, retail, manufacturing, mining, telecommunications and call center. Paulo have been exposed to many different systems and methodologies, though may not be an expert on all of them. Through the years he had adopted the ability to learn quickly and adjust to new trends, markets and technologies and always look forward to my forthcoming ventures in the IT world. He had vast experience in software design and development using Microsoft products, including Visual Studio and SQL Server. He also has experience in project management, business analysis, system analysis and design, software development and database design.

I joined Dimagi South Africa in July 2019 as an Account Executive. A born Capetonian, but I grew up in Port Elizabeth, finishing school and a Diploma in Marketing at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. I worked in a variety of industries, Retail, Banking, Manufacturing and Software. Built my skillset around Sales and Account Management positions over the past several years. Gained valuable experience in several areas, like Client Management, Operations and Sales.I have come to the conclusion that software is an effective and efficient way to make a meaningful impact in the world. Dimagi promotes sustainability as a company, so that we can use technology as a tool to make a positive impact in communities that need it the most. That is what drew me to Dimagi, the type of company that I wanted to work for after doing some soul searching. My goal is to learn more about driving sustainable businesses and operations so that I may assist conventional organizations, to have the ability to sustain themselves. I absolutely enjoy being outdoors, be it visiting a wine farm or in the bush on a bike. Love experiencing new cultures, a real foody and a sport fanatic. Also addicted to traveling!

Joanne joined Dimagi in 2022 as a Business Development Associate based in Cape Town. Joanne studied her BSc in Life Sciences as UNISA, majoring in Zoology and Human Physiology. It was from there that she grew an interest in Public Health - particularly epidemiology - and went on to study her PGD in Public Health at the University of the Western Cape. Before Dimagi, Joanne worked at an NPO involved with community and youth upliftment projects. She also has a brief background in teaching English online and editing academic articles for health-based journals. In her free time, Joanne enjoys hiking, cooking, a cold beer, and hanging out with her dog and cat.

Elena is a Project Manager based in Cape Town. Born and raised in Italy, she decided to venture to South Africa after graduating in Languages for International Commerce at the University of Verona - and hasn’t gone back since. Elena has 10 years’ experience in the Technology and e-commerce space, of which 4 years in UX and Usability, and is passionate about Project Management. Elena’s interest was caught when enrolling in the Humane Technology course, where she got inspired to help build technology and use her experience for positively impacting the lives of others. Samantha’s journey to joining Dimagi as a Technical Project Analyst in the Solutions division is unique, just like her. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, she developed a deep passion for improving the quality of life of others. This led her to the University of Cape Town, where she majored in psychology and organizational psychology, and graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science. Her intrinsic ability to understand the human mind and aptitude for communicating technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences saw her entering the digital space. There, she worked across departments and within diverse teams as an SEO copywriter and database administrator for all manner of industries. However, with opportunities to drive meaningful change few and far between, Samantha was quickly drawn to Dimagi, where software meets social impact. Outside of work, she is the proud mother to Franco, her two-year-old Staffy. She loves losing herself in Cape Town’s indigenous fynbos forests and resetting in its salty waters. She also enjoys indoor climbing (and falling).

Yassin is a Public Health Project Analyst at Dimagi based in Dakar. She has a BA in African Studies and an MSc in Global Public Health. With a specific interest in nutrition and maternal health Yassin aspires to contribute to accessible and holistic approaches to health that are inclusive of some of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities. Fittingly she joined Dimagi to be in an impact-oriented environment exploring the intersection of health and technology. Mamy is a Senior Technical Project Analyst at Dimagi. Passionate about Technology, self-learner, he enjoys learning new things, overcoming challenges and he has the ability to easily adapt. Having worked for nearly 10 years as Technical Director in an American Non-Governmental Organization and recently as Dashboards and Data Projects Manager in a Canadian Social Enterprise, both operating in Information and Communication Technology, in particular on the implementation of Electronic Data Collection tools and Data Analysis. He enjoys Sport especially soccer (Football - Real Madrid Fans and BAREA Madagascar Football National Team). Always in pursuit of joy and growth, Yomila has managed to integrate her passion for art into hercommitment to community development and social work quite a few times over the last five tosix years. Before joining Dimagi, she got the chance to work with a prominent feminist magazineand one of the most groundbreaking feminist networks in Mozambique, both times in the mediaand communications department. While she thrives when it comes to being creative, her mostmeaningful experience is linked to urban mobility and youth leadership. Accessibility, climatejustice, public transportation, children rights and sustainability are some of the key fields sheworked with as a Research Assistant all the way to Project Manager. Having now the platform to continue to do meaningful work on a much larger scale as a SeniorProject Analyst, her priority is to keep learning, working with a supportive and talented team andfinding effective tools to employ what she already knows with what is needed in order to make along lasting impact. During my studies at the University of Stellenbosch in Electrical & Electronic engineering, the last thing I wanted to do was to become a software engineer. However, after graduation I landed my first job as a software engineer and grew quite fond of it after seeing its potential. Shortly thereafter I joined Dimagi so that I could use my new found abilities to improve the lives of others. I figured that I wanted to do something that matters in the long run. When I am not working I like being outside enjoying nature. I love exploring interesting ideas by reading or simply watching something like TedX. I also take an interest in history and some deeper philosophical matters, especially reflecting on human nature.

Chris graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is a software engineer who wants to use his skills and daily efforts to have a positive impact on the lives of people. He believes that time well spent is time invested in other people. Outside of work, he makes a point of enjoying the little things in life. He loves spending time outside, preferably with his wife at his side. He enjoys exploring new places either on foot or on his motorcycle. Fatou joins Dimagi as a Senior Project Analyst in Global Services team in Dakar. She graduated as an engineer in electronics and embedded systems from the polytechnic school of Nantes. As part of her program, she did an external semester in Montreal and studied, apart from computer science related class, Medical imaging her favorite class of her student years!! After graduating and returning to Paris, she spent 2 years as a C developer in embedded systems in a communications company before joining GE healthcare to work on Xray generator system. From there, she worked for an IT company in Financial markets for 2 years. She believes that IT will play a big role in the future development of Africa and is really interested in healthcare issues and environmental protection. In her free time, Fatou loves traveling and discovering new places, as well as trying adrenaline activities, reading and ... eating guacamole.

Senior Project Analyst
Anaba is a Senior Project Analyst on Dimagi’s team from Ghana. He is a Ghanaian with 9 years' experience in the NGO field of work. He has worked across various diverse fields in the development sector including climate change, environment and forestry, agriculture and livelihoods projects, disability inclusion and mental health. He is an experienced stakeholder relationship management specialist, facilitator and animator. His move to Dimagi was motivated by his desire to bring smiles to the faces of the most vulnerable in the society and also use technology to create the needed impact that the world needs. He holds a BSc. Renewable Natural Resources from the University for Development Studies, Tamale (Ghana), An MSc. Environmental Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Masters` of Public Health with Speciality in Monitoring and Evaluation from The Catholic University College of Ghana (awaiting graduation). Anaba is an outgoing person and does not place restrictions on himself.

Director of Solutions Delivery
Sarvesh has a background in computer science engineering and social entrepreneurship. He started his career as a software engineer working on data analytics projects but after an initial stint transitioned to the development sector. For more than a decade, he has developed and deployed Information and Communication Technologies across South Asia and Africa. During these years some of the roles that he has enjoyed most include leading product development for the biggest mobile health system in the world, implementing ICT solutions in low-income schools to improve the quality of education, and consulting different government departments to become data-driven. Sarvesh keeps up with academic conversations in ICTD, HCID, and CSCW and other pertinent discussions in social sciences as they relate to research on science, technology, and society. He is always looking to collaborate with academics who are interested in theory/praxis and committed to bridging the artificial distinctions in theory and praxis prevalent in many debates globally. Sarvesh is also a cycling enthusiast who loves being outdoors and can often be found wandering the city on his bike.
Senior Technical Project Analyst
Ibrahim, who is sometimes mistaken for being Malian or Mauritanian, is actually Senegalese who was born and raised in Paris. He has completed his master’s degree with honors in finance as the major of his promotion while juggling between small jobs and schoolwork. Before joining Dimagi as a Senior Technical Project Analyst, he gained nine years of experience delivering projects in investment and retail banking across Paris, London, and Dakar. Ibrahim is a reliable, goal-oriented and hardworking professional with excellent technical and functional knowledge, and experienced in providing innovative solutions with a high client satisfaction track record. Ibrahim is also a big fan of the English Premier League and supports Manchester United, on good days and bad days (which happens to be too frequent).
Applications Engineer
Ahmad is professionally driven by working on projects that have a direct positive impact on people’s lives and empowering young people with knowledge that can be used to change their lives, knowledge that can drive them to think outside the box and consequently create sustainable growth. He comes to Dimagi as a Senior Field Manager after having worked for more than a decade at the Computer Center of the University Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo where he participated in projects with NGO’s, Government Entities and Private Companies in various contexts, from criminal records to presidential elections, and wearing different “hats” such as Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Designer and Project Manager. He also has experience teaching software engineering classes and as an independent IT consultant working on projects related to School Management, Traffic Fines, Supply Chain, Stock Management, POS and CMS in Mozambique. He holds bachelor and postgraduate degrees in Computer Science from University Eduardo Mondlane. In his free time, Ahmad enjoys cycling, reading (especially historical non-fiction), camping, hiking, going to the beach, dancing, singing karaoke (badly), playing sports and being with family and friends. He looks forward to his work with Dimagi and making a difference, which he believes is the “juice of life”.
Senior Director of Delivery
Wouter has a deep interest in using design and technology for social and economic development, particularly in the African context. He has a passion for entrepreneurship and welcomes every opportunity to brainstorming about business improvement ideas. Wouter has extensive experience in supply chain management. His involvement with contract farming across the SADC region has given him incredible insight into the intricacies and opportunities of incorporating smallholder farmers into global food supply chains. Building on these experiences, in combination with his passion to create meaningful change, he aims to contribute to organizations which intend to grow their impact and develop sustainably. Wouter’s Dutch roots are evident in his love for cheese and cycling. He is an exercise fanatic and, when not in the office, can be found running Cape Town’s promenade. Furthermore, Wouter holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of The Hague and an MBA from the University of Cape Town.

As a digital enthusiast who incorporates IT in all areas of his life, Edson has managed to preserve this principle in his professional career, working first as a Cloud Architect and then embracing digital opportunities at NGOs, that support government health initiatives across Eastern and Southern Africa. Currently, based in Maputo, he has taken on the role of Director of Country Programs - Mozambique at Dimagi, and strives to be a crucial piece of the jigsaw puzzle 🧩

Cory is Chief Accelerator of Dimagi, a loosely-defined role where he mostly creates trouble and tries not to break things. Cory served as Dimagi's CTO from 2007-2017 where he led the development of CommCare HQ. Outside of Dimagi he writes and does entrepreneurship, both rather poorly.
