Terre des hommes’ IeDA Program Wins Excellence Award at the Global South eHealth Observatory

On July 1st, 2019, in front of an audience of health consultants, ministry of health officials, and mHealth-focused NGOs at the fourth conference of the Global South eHealth Observatory in Lavaur, France, Terre des hommes’ Electronic Register of Consultations (REC) application earned our partners another award. The award was one of five given to the best e-health initiatives and social innovations improving access to health for all and also comes with one year and €100,000 in support for further development.
Sonia Panzani, Health Programme Manager at Terre des hommes, was there to accept the awards on the organization’s behalf:
“The ODESS prize is a great honor for Tdh, our health programme and an important recognition of the work of a very dedicated team and a strong partnership from the very start with the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso. We’re grateful to Pierre Fabre Foundation and the Global South eHealth observatory. We’re confident this award will help us to further expand, both thematically and geographically, and namely help us develop more valuable partnerships, which we consider key to a successful scale up and increased impact.”
