Dimagi, Grameen Foundation to Host First MOTECH Suite Workshop

Untitled

After conducting workshops in over seven cities around the world, Dimagi is proud to collaborate with the Grameen Foundation on our first MOTECH Suite Workshop. MOTECH Suite is an open source software platform delivered by Dimagi, Inc. and the Grameen Foundation that enables organizations to deploy and manage a wide range of mHealth applications.

The goals of the workshop are to build a community of mobile health implementers in Ghana, share best practices & strategies for mHealth projects running at scale, and enable participants to be leaders in mHealth within their organizations. The workshop will introduce attendees to the array of tools that MOTECH Suite has available including CommCare, CommTrack, CommConnect, and the core MOTECH systems, and to learn more about other existing programs and their use of mobile technology in the region.

Conference organizer, Dimagi’s Andrea Fletcher, noted that this workshop will be focusing on how mobile tools can impact change in entire systems. I’m excited because we’ll be engaging with partners on a higher, more strategic level. We will be moving beyond looking at specific projects and progammes like we have during past workshops, and start brainstorming ways that we can work together on a larger scale.”

Workshop details: The workshop is geared for directors, program managers, and heads of departments from NGOs, funding organizations, research agencies, and government agencies. It will take place August 27, 28, and 29 in Accra Ghana, and costs $75  for attendees.
