Previously, the case list in a CommCare app was automatically sorted by whatever case property you put first in the case list configuration page in the application builder. We learned from your feedback that it is often useful to automatically order the case list so that higher priority cases are at the top of the list (e.g. cases with a danger sign, or with an upcoming appointment date).
Advanced Case List Sorting gives you more control over the order cases appear in a mobile worker’s Case List. You can sort by multiple case properties independently of of what you choose to display in the Case List.
