CRS ReMiND Project Recognized at 14th World Congress on Public Health

CRSCongratulations to our partner, Catholic Relief Services India, who participated in the 14th World Congress on Public Health in Kolkata, India.  Their CommCare based project, ReMiND (Reducing Maternal and Newborn Death), was recognized for its poster submission titled “Improving the Quality of Engagement Between Pregnant Women and ASHAs in Kaushambu district of Uttar Pradesh, India.”  The award was presented at the closing ceremony of the conference with the Minister of Public Health Engineering, Panchayats, and Rural Development Dr. Subrata Mukherejee of West Bengal as the guest of honor.

The CRS ReMiND project focuses on maternal and child health, and uses CommCare to track the women and children over time.  Dimagi and CRS India have worked together since 2011 in maternal and child health initiative across India.
